Calgary Muffler

Brought my BMW Z4 Coupe to get some exhaust work done, was late for the appointment and the folks at Calgary Muffler Carline still fit me in. Called me throughout the day with updates and quoted me everything before work was done. I was prepared to put smaller tips on my car but they found some badass 3.5" double wall stainless tips, made them fit flush without contacting the bumper, plus the car sounds downright viscous now! Welds & cuts look fairly clean and the price was super reasonable. They installed brackets to keep the piping tight + hanging in place as well. Work was done in a day. Thanks guys!

After having these guys do a few exhausts for me before, I was easily ready to come right back for another. However this time, my experience was not as it was previously. I had my truck in for a full custom exhaust from header-back. I explained roughly what I wanted and my needs were met. The exhaust fits nice, it looks good, and it sounds alright. I dropped it off first thing 8am and advised they could have it all day. They said they would call me with an estimate before going ahead. A bit surprised I ended up calling them a little after 2:30pm, concerned if it was going to be done that day. They advised they hadnt gotten it in for the estimate yet. So at this point I knew with a few hours left, it was feeling a but rushed especially considering they had to order in a tip. They did finish it same day. However I did return due to some bolts coming loose on the downpipe and - in my opinion - poor-looking welds some with excess wire left on them. They were able to remedy the bolt issue with no problems and that was great. However as far as the welds go, they told me they were up to par, and that they would cut the excess wire off. Sure, they dont leak, but I feel for shy of $700, the welds should look better than this. And previous visits they had coated the welds with a corrosion-resistant paint, which I thought was a great “wow-factor”. But this time they were all left raw. All in all, Im totally one to give a polite second chance before voicing any concern, but I was definitely let down this time.

Great place to get anything done to your vehicle’s exhaust. I got a whole new muffler put on my car in a couple hours. It can be a bit more on the pricey side compared to other shops but the expertise and skill of the guys working there is better than anywhere else. Highly recommend going here whether you need an exhaust leak fixed or a whole new custom system.

This is how every business should run. These guys are good at what they do. There is no upselling and no surprises. They do the job the way that it needs to be done. I had a previous quote from another shop to fix my manifold and exhaust which would've costed $1500-3000 depending on what parts were going to be replaced. I called Calgary Muffler Carline mid-day and they were able to fit me in for a free inspection on short notice. They jacked up my car, explained what needed to be fixed and gave me a quote prior to the service. Instead of the outrageous cost from the shop I went to prior, my fix only costed $370 and was finished in about 30-45min. The staff were super nice, attentive, and overall I had a great experience, I would visit this shop again and would highly recommend them!!!

Was recommended here By Bryan from capital chev after having my check engine light come on and some rattling from under the car, ended up finding out it was triggered by the catalytic converter. thinking I had to replace it I went to these guys. They took a look at it, found a heat shield loose rattling removed it which fixed the noise and gave me information on what the issue could be and they didn't end up charging me a thing for it. Turns out got i had gotten some bad fuel. They saved me at least 2000$ by being honest and not just fixing the small problem, resetting the light charging me and sending me on my way. 5/5 would recommend!

I had to get my cat converter welded due to a theft attempt. Called in the afternoon and they took me in right away. The staff here are honest and saved me lots of money. I highly recommend this place.

I showed up early on a Thursday morning to get my muffler replaced because it’s got a nice rusted hole on it. They took me in right away and gave me an estimate of how much and how long it’ll take to replace. Their prices are reasonable and to my surprise they took my vehicle in right away. It took less than an hour to replace as they only had 3 vehicles first thing in the morning and as I understand they only take first come first serve so showing up early really paid off in this situation for me. They got the job done fast and I was on my way out fairly quickly. They have a lifetime warranty on their workmanship and a 2 year warranty on the muffler itself so that’s very good to have. I’d definitely reccomend going to this place. Staff are friendly and helpful, they offer quick service and at a reasonable price!
