Food is superb. I really love their steamed dumplings. The mutton is very flavorful. A fave is the one with their 'soup' but you can't go wrong with any of them. However, I personally don't prefer their fried dumplings. The butter chicken is also very good. The only issue is the service takes a while. They are busy and could work on their attentiveness or even greet people as they walk through the door. Overall, the food is too good to pass.
Food was good but they served each item one at a time almost in 10 mins intervals. So we had to share every item among 6 people and waited for the other items to be served. We would have enjoyed the food better if they were served together and hadn’t have to share one single item. My sis said previously they served all items together so this might be a one time thing! Staff were friendly! Will visit again.
Me and my siblings wanted to try momo’s in Calgary. I knew this place since a long time but never got a chance to visit. We randomly decided after shopping to go for dinner and ended up at this place. We ordered french fries which is not in the menu you have to ask them for it, served piping hot and crispy. For main course we ordered Chilli Momo chicken and Jhol Momo Mutton. Each dish comes with 10 momo’s. Food was freshly made and served hot. The chilli chutney dipping sauce was the star of the meal. The service was good, staff was very polite and friendly. It is a small dine in place. So far this place is the closest in taste for momo’s that I have eaten internationally. Price is pocket friendly for the quality of food and service provided. This place serves halal. Overall highly recommended to try.
Momo House is a momo paradise. Authentic Himalayan flavors, cozy ambiance, and friendly staff. A must-visit for delectable momos and a taste of Nepal.Food: 5/5
Was expecting like 5 or 6 momo's for $13, but we actually got 10 and they were all absolutely delicious. Super affordable and extremely mouth watering. Was honestly surprised this place was not lined out the door on a Saturday night, most definitely check out this restaurant if you're near this area!Food: 5/5
One thing to note is that the dishes are automatically served family style and they don't arrive at the same time. It's great for sharing but can be a little awkward otherwise. The tandoori momos are my favourite, but the jhol were great as well. Tried the butter tea today and it's delicious — creamy, rich, and lightly spiced with cinnamon. This wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last. Vegetarian options: Momos can be cooked any way you like, and come filled with chicken, mutton, veggies, or paneer. There's also a chow mein noodle dish that can be vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: I don't think the menu included any gluten-free vegetarian options.
Momos were in good proportion and were tasty but couldn't match up to the hype. Dining and eating fresh should have improved the experienceFood: 3/5
I ordered for pickup. This might be the reason why I was not able to taste the food like the other reviews. I was so excited to eat momos but: The chili momos were too soggy and there was a watery gravy in the dish. The chutney was lip-smacking. The spring rolls were okay. Not the best I have ever had. The mango cake had fresh fruit which was amazing but the cake tasted more like baking powder/ baking soda. I wish I had a better experience
We had dined in and taken out before. Both have amazing experiences. Their pricing is very good. Each momo fish you get 10 which is absolutely beyond filling. I highly recommend trying all the momo types!Food: 5/5
Best momos I have ever eaten in my life. Jhol momos are to die for and whatever we ordered was amazing. Will be back for more. Pooja was awesome. Great customer service.
