Story

The Calabogie Brewing Company is Calabogies first ever craft brewery.

Born into a rich home of history and pride, The Calabogie Brewing Company is proud to serve the local area with an unrivalled passion and love for beer.
Our founders Greg, Ken, Jamie and Mike are humbled to share their passion with a community built with a pioneer spirit.

Our brewery will be open starting March 15th. Our hours will be 11-7 Monday to Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday. Stop by, we’d love to share our passion with you and brew some great company. – Cheers

Horrible service but good beer. There is so much potential for Calabogie Brewing to be a great business, but their service is far below par. We waited 15+ minutes before being acknowledged. I recommend the beer because it is interesting and different, but I do not recommend the experience.

Not impressed! Not by the beers but by the severs who greet and look after customers. Was a busy time but our party of 5 were OK to wait. After 5-10 minutes with no acknowledgement that we were there. We left for a short while in hope that on return it would be a better experience... NOPE! We wanted to try their various brews but after one sample we were asked to step back to let others approach the bar. Again we were standing on the outskirts of our sampling!!! The server was lacklustre with no personality or forthcoming information of any beer knowledge. Could not answer any questions relating to the Calabogie craft brewing beers. Asked what he would suggest starting with for samples and his response was ..just tell me want you want to try and I'll pour it for you!!! WTH!!! NO DESCRIPTIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCT! Our party of 5 travelled to 6 other craft breweries that day rating each one and Calabogie brewery was a huge disappointment. My experience turned me off purchasing anything. No fault of the quality of the beers, the one sample we had was good.

Great tasting beer, great staff, and an even better location. The back patio overlooking the river is a great spot to enjoy some company with!
