First timer here! I decided to stop in on Oct.8th and ordered a dozen cupcakes for my daughter's 13th Halloween themed birthday. They were a big hit & everybody enjoyed them. The cashier was very courteous and helpful, store was clean & inviting and the cupcakes on display, menu/pricing and other items-all easy to view. They all looked delicious so I decided on a dozen w/4 different cupcakes: 6 red velvet cupcakes w/vanilla frosting. 1strawberry crunch w/pink vanilla frosting and strawberry shortcake pieces–my personal fave. 2 Apple pie cupcake w/apple crumbles on top, vanilla frosting and caramel drizzle–Caution! Very sweet. 3 chocolate chip cookie cupcakes w/red velvet cake and a soft cookie on the bottom–the best tasting, according to my kids. The frosting wasn't overly sweet besides the apple and the actual cake was moist and fresh. We plan on stopping in to try Cake In a Cup's other cupcake creations in the future! EDIT: The knife and scissor toppers, paper cupcake holders,and "killer birthday" banner are all from Amazon.com The paper plates, cups, napkins & candles are from dollar general. Happy Spooktober, everyone!
Beautiful and delicious. So far I've had an apple pie and a bump cupcake. I have a Strawberry crunch and a chocolate chip cookie one left.
I had the Pleasure of Decorating/Balloons for Valentine's Day and their Anniversary. Not only do they have delicious cupcakes, it's the cutest Bakery around. They have an adorable Party room for any Occasion and highly recommend!
Great cupcakes. We travel from Michigan just to get a dozen for their fabulous treats. OMG the wedding cupcake is the best. This is my weekly cheat treat. I love this place. bonus is they are served room temp.

Cake in a Cup moved to a new and bigger location in 2022! It is not convenient to get to as you can only enter going east on Central Ave., but it is worth it once you step inside. They have delicious looking and tasting 6-inch cakes, cupcakes, mini cupcakes, other treats, coffee, and lemonade. There is a refrigerator with ready to pickup 6-inch cakes, 2 lb tubs of frosting, cookie dough, and cold drinks. You can pre-order items as well. Flavors change per day, so check out their daily menu on their website. You can sit next to the big glass windows with great natural light, sit near the open kitchen to view their baking process, or even rent out their new expanded space. Cake in a Cup is locally-owned and nationally-recognized, as winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, for good reason!

I'm going to be very generous and give 4 stars. I love the innovation of this business. The employees are always very nice and friendly. They always have a great variety of flavors for your taste buds. Why I cannot give a perfect 5.0 rating is simply the freshness of the cupcakes. I have mentioned to several of the employees on occasion that the frosting is awesome all of the time, but the cake does not meet my standards for freshness. For the money I spend to get quality baked goods, I want only the freshest, moist, delicious cake I came there to buy. My last few visits to get cupcakes I was disappointed that the cake was not what I would consider fresh or moist for consumption. I love this place so much it would be easy to rate it a 5.0 stars, but I wouldn't be completely honest if I didn't express how this company could improve it's merchandise. I hope my next visit will yield nothing but the freshest products that I can enjoy. And if that happens, you can bet my next rating will be 5.0 stars for sure. Update: After some time I stopped by the new location and was highly impressed with the new facility. It's Beautiful. Unfortunately the cupcakes have not changed at all, still the best frosting in the world applied to not so fresh cake. This is a no go for me because I value soft, moist, delicious cake as much as the frosting that's on top of it. Not a fan anymore, good luck!
This place is great. Fun sweet treat they were featured on food network cupcake wars Tim burton series . The red velvet is my absolute favorite. You need to check it out
I love all the cupcake flavors. My friends at work are so happy when I bring them in for meetings. The new shop is great!!!
