I agreed with most of the people that services are terrible I call in April 2020 to waive the mortgage for six months due to COVID-19, my agent mr. F, only did for only 3 months, and ask me to call me again for next 3 months, while other bank do it for 6 months in one call. He assure me mortgage will not pass for next 3 months, then guess what? Mortgage still pass today I try to call mr F agent no answer and call 1800 number They told me call his assistant, I left her 2 messages no answer. Such incompetent people, probably mr. F the agent didn’t tell his assistant concerning our agreement to waive mortgage for 3 months so I have to run around to fix his incompetence, meaning in this branch, left pocket doesn’t know what the right pocket is doing. I don’t know what’s the standard to hire employees, just well enough to speak French, forget about the services available in English in this branch, don’t even try it, you won’t get it, I think my grade 2 child speak very well French , better then me, she could qualify to work for Desjardins.

I went a few years ago with a friend just to learn and get more financial information. My friend cane along because they were also interested to learn more about finances. without my consent, the advisor showed all my personal financial information. i don’t know if it was done on purpose but it almost felt like they were trying to humiliate me I had money with other financial institutions so of course she wouldnt think im broke. I went in to sign some mortgage documents with M. Idir Beladjal and it was such bad service I wanted to cancel my mortgage. He was rude, unprofessional and clearly did not care. If you are scheduled to meet him cancel and go with anyone else unless you want Terrible service.
