Have visited this place thrice and it has been awesome all the time. Delicious food with great serving size and warm welcome staff makes you feel like home. Accommodate people with special food requests. They have pizza theatre where you can watch cook making pizza. Order comes with warm bread and it is best tasting bread that i have ever tasted.
My family and I travel an hour and a half just to come here to eat. They have great food. Big portions. The waitress are always friendly and the place is always clean. We have 5 people in our family and we never have to wait long to be seated. My wife had the chicken parmesan, our 2 girls had the spaghetti and meatballs, my son had the pizza and fries and I had a steak pazone. Everything was delicious and the prices are reasonable.
Went here with my daughter, we got 10 wings, 2 sodas, and a small pizza. For $38. I thought that was pretty fair. There was a wait. Every table was full but I already knew that's how it is there. Very busy, it was a Saturday evening around 5:30. Service was very good as well. Kid-friendliness: They do make your own personal pizza on Wednesdays I think?
If you live or visit anywhere within driving distance to Newfane, I STRONGLY recommend you stop in for a meal at Cafora's! They have a vast and extensive menu full of classic and original Italian meals! Family owned and ran for 50+ years. Charming and quaint environment with extremely reasonable prices! They even have a "CHUBBY CHALLENGE". If you can eat an entire Chubby in 30 minutes or less you can win a $10 gift certificate AND get on the Wall Of Shame!!! I definitely will be coming in regularly to try more menu items! Lourie was a friendly and fun server who recommended an amazing meal for me.
When I'm in the area I always stop in for a large cheese and pepperoni pizza. One of my favorites around. Came in recently ordered the Greek chicken salad wasn't my favorite Greek salad so next time I'll try a pasta dish. 5 stars for the pizza
Have been to Caforas several times for dine in and take out. Their pizza is one of my favorites. Today however I experienced some of the worst service I have ever had anywhere. Chloe was our waitress and was less than on top of things. My husband asked for a refill on his iced tea and was given just more tea apparently the iced part does not come with refills. She took more than another 25 minutes to enter the room we were seated in and then completely ignored us not even coming over to see if we needed anything until I requested her attention for a refill. At that point we were told that our food would be right out. 20 minutes later after we expressed our frustration she came out with our food and it was cold and the Alfredo sauce had a crust on it like it had been sitting for awhile. When I said something to her she blamed the kitchen for being backed up but the people sitting next to us with an arrival 30 minutes after us were already eating their meals. They had a different waitress... go figure. All in all we were there for more than an hour and half and we could not even eat our meals because we were so frustrated at that point in time. There were only 2 other tables occupied when we initially arrived at 3:30 on a Sunday to get ahead of any dinner rush... well that did not work out in our favor. It is a sad day as my husband who is normally the patient one in our marriage will never go back again.
I don't care how long we had to wait to get in, we would wait. So now we often go before it gets crowded. There is a reason you have to wait, because the food is great, and a lot of people come. It gets crowded for a reason. Their food is excellent. Having grandparents from Italy I knew Italian tomato sauce; we had it every Sunday and Thursday growing up. I absolutely love any pasta with Cafora's Italian tomato sauce. My Mother loved their side salad, with raspberry vinaigrette and crumbly blue cheese. My family hasn't had one thing they didn't like.
The food was delicious, and the sauce was fantastic. I had an appetizer that had sauce, the name escapes me, but the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp was sooo good. The service was excellent. I will be in the area again, and I will be back.Food: 5/5
The place was just buzzing last Friday night. Great food and service. We waited about 10 minutes to get a table which I figured was pretty good on a Friday night with no reservations. Wheelchair accessibility: no issues with wheelchair access
Our first time here and definitely not our last. Great service and food. Thank you!
