Best bangali breakfast by far. Pure home made taste. Reminds me of how my mom used to make them for me.
I thought i will never be able to eat fish in Toronto ever Bangla recipies. Then I found them. Washroom was horrible. I had to wash hands before and after eating but the sink was sprinkling water all over. I didn't like the Tehari but Fish n bhorta bhaji thali was "oshadharon!!!"
Authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, nice environment, reasonable pricing. Great place to just hang out with ol pals and have some Fuchka ! Really like the vorta plate!
Worse Bangladeshi food ever i had. Food quality went down. Daal looks like vorta. Runny suji. Total rip off.
Delicious beef khichuri. Slow but welcoming service. Decent size for large groups. Has a small children's play area.
Amazing service. Loved the food and the ambience. A little little bit costly than others Danforth Bangladeshi restaurants but this is suppose to be an upscale restaurant so it was okay. Service was great and food was delicious. The staff was very attentive and kind when we had questions. Food was some of the best Bangladeshi food I've had at a restaurant. Tender meat, perfect level of spice. 5 stars!
Not sure how to rate this place. The management changed 1.5 years ago. The place used to have the best Bangladesh food you can ask for in Canada, period. However, there was some problem with the way it used to be managed. The AC/Heater was not running for the most part. The toilets used to be dirty and the place overall wasn't too clean. Now, under new management, the place is very clean! the toilets are clean and there is a small place for children to play, that's also has been cleaned up. These are all good and welcome addition. Also, the service level has been noticeably better. However, now the food isn't the same as before. The taste is really average and is far from what it used to be before. Both me and my wife thinks so. But, don't get me wrong, the food is still okay ,but just not great like before. They have also increased the prices of most things, but not by too much. Most dishes are still under 10 bucks. If you are a desi person, you should definitely give them a visit.
Definitely coming back here! Tried their khichuri, dal puri, kolijar shingara and cha. Everything was good!
Was recommended this cafe by family. Upon arriving, the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in the past five months. Stains on the walls that have never been washed. The whole place just made the mood depressing. When the waiter took our order, he did not have the items we requested and instead, suggested us something else without much as even an apology. Horrible service all around. Only redeeming quality was the food as it came out hot surprisingly! and was of somewhat good quality. Do yourselves a favor and look some place else as there are definitely better alternatives out there.
Just went for the Sunday breakfast today. This place was re-opened under new management last week and so I wanted to give them a try today. A group of young professionals giving their 110% in serving their customers which is rare in most Bangladeshi restaurants in Toronto to say the least. Food was good with great family atmosphere! Will be their regular patron in the days ahead. I wish them all the best!
