First time at a Cuban restaurant. Small, but very clean and pleasant. Very friendly server, good menu variety... something for everyone. Reasonable prices. Food was flavorful, well prepared, not overly seasoned. Nice blend of flavors. If you have never had Cuban cuisine before, this is a good introduction. Will definitely go again!
Quaint place with great food and affordable pricing. The Cuban sandwich and the stuffed burger were delightful! If you love fries, be sure to get a side order but be prepared to eat because the order is HUGE! Their tostones and yuca are also very food. Their cocktails were also wonderful and you can get them with or without alcohol. I brought my baby and there was plenty of room for the stroller. Would definitely eat there again if I was looking for Cuban food in that neighborhood in the future.
Staff was very friendly and nice. I was overjoyed by everything about this meal. The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. We loved the music and the vibe!
The food was delicious. I really enjoyed relleno de papa they had a nice crunch to the skin on them. The chops nice and juicy.
OK- Being honest- First time eating Cuban food and well this is the point of reviews......ordered the pork chops with their homemade BBQ sauce, came with white rice and black beans and two tiny pieces of sweet plantain. Jibarito dinner came with the same and so did the ropa vieja dinner. The portions of the side items are too small. A hungry man eating a small cup or less of rice with beans and two tiny sweet plantain is not enough for a $20+ plate. The flavor of the beans were a total bummer. No flavor just seems like black beans with a dash of salt. The bbq porkchops was ok- we can all make this at home with more flavor! Sorry being honest. The Jibarito sandwich my daughter stated that it was ok- After a bite I agree it was lacking flavor. My father-in- law had the bistec which again just table salt and like two cups of grilled onions on top. Just your typical tabletop condiments will not cut it for a RESTAURANT. Now the so called ropa vieja was good and had a unique flavor. If I dine here again- I will probably go for this and order a extra side of rice. Now the only thing that bothered me was the gratuity that was added for a party over 4. Really my 5 year old is a grown adult- the only thing I ordered for her was a relleno de papa! The waiter received a good tip thanks to a 5 year old!
Not a place I would recommend. The meal was eatable at best and had we not been shopping all day or had spent 30 bucks for two sandwiches we may have walked out. There were two waitresses and 3 customers in the whole establishment and it took 10 mins to get a refill. There are some amazing places to get Jibaritos but this is not one of them. The waitresses were sweet.
The smell from the food hits you once you enter the restaurant. Excellent service and food. Thursdays is $5 mojito day. We had the choice of sitting inside or the outside patio. We will be back again soon.
I was very impressed with this place . I've been to Cuba twice , this took me back to Cuba , The food was so good , me and my family ate a little of everything, we drove one hour in half to get their and it was well worth it. We will definitely come back , I totally recommend it . The price is ,YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. so theirs no complaints on that, everything was so gd, service was awesome, like I said we would take the drive just to eat at Cafe Cubano any time. Thanks for your awesome service!!!!! LIBERTAD
Horrible place!! Please learn about Cuban food before get there because they do not serve that type of food. They don't have 100% authentic Cuban food.  Poorly blended piña colada because half looks like ice, and the answer was "that it is piña colada".  They do not notify when they do not have something on the menu.  For example, my sister and I ordered a Tapa Combo and we were not notified that "stuffed beef tostones" did not come. In exchange they just put some chicken empanadas with asking anything and they did not even apologized for the change. If you ask for water, they only offer it purchased and from a specific brand.  If you don't like what they offer you, they don't offer you any other type of water even tap water. I did not like the service and the food is average.  I don't know how this place has such a good rating if it is not 100% Cuban food/beverage/service. I growth up with authentic caribbean food and this place did not offered what should offer. The last thing was that the owners told us good bye in a sarcastic and loud voice when we were living from the restaurant. What a shame for the latin community.
Food and service, excellent. Second time dining here and will definitely make it a regular spot.
