Such a fun experience dining here! The owner was very welcoming, funny and engaging. His 2 sons were also incredible. Great hospitality, quirky and enjoyable with friends! The food was all incredible order appetizers, the veal entree and dessert! and the wine was delicious. Can't wait to go back.
One of the best places around for a GREAT meal & dining experience. Everything is done to perfection from start to finish. We've been often, Cafe Andreou never disappoints, perfection, perfection, perfection in every single detail & food served. Cafe Andreou is a quaint family business, it's evident family pride shines through to give the BEST experience every single time. Every mouthful of any dish put in front of you is excellent, screaming with exceptional presentation and flavor making you crave more. This is how dining places should be every time you go out to eat, Cafe Andreou is a rare gem that deserves huge recognition on their hard work. Well done, I thank Cafe Andreou for the great evening and knocking it out of the park every single time we go! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Delicious! We really enjoyed our visit at the restaurant this week. The food was spectacular and coming from someone who lived in Italy - it is authentic and tastes just like a trip to Italy! We had the escargot and rosé gnocchi to start. Both were divine! The rosé gnocchi sauce was amazing and had the most perfect favour - creamy, hint of tomate - perfect! My husband said if we were at home he'd lick the plate! For our mains we both had a veal dish - I forget the names but one was with red sauce and another with white sauce - BOTH delicious and different flavours! The veal was cooked perfectly and such an amazing treat since I don't have veal often. The linguni paired wit my dish was cooked to perfection and was of course freshly made. Finally for dessert we had the lemon tiramisu. It was delicious - light, fluffy, a hint of lemon - perfect! We were treated so nicely and loved our experience! We will be going back soon!
We stopped in before heading home to Hamilton after visiting a friend. We were unaware that you needed a reservation but we were seated nonetheless. We were amazed at how good the food was! We each ordered a veal dish and my partner exclaimed that this is the best veal she has ever tasted! The sauces were delicious and the veal and pasta were cooked to perfection.
Two couples enjoyed a lovely dining experience on Saturday evening. Beautiful space with very interesting art on the walls. The owner is gregarious, friendly and very proud of his business. Service was incredible. The food was spectacular. We all really enjoyed every morsel of our food. Hot, fresh bread with tapenade was served for the table. Enjoyed the 'special' salad of mixed greens, fresh asparagus in a light vinegrette.
Fantastic! Family run, and incredible food. This is a mixture of fine dining and the feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home.
My wife and I came here for my birthday and it was one of the best dinners I've ever had. The food was absolutely the best Italian I have ever had and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back and I would absolutely recommend this place
Cafe Andreou is an excellent restaurant in Brantford with an amazing location. It's small so it feels very personal. The food is some of the best I've ever eaten and is absolutely worth the price due to the extremely high standard of quality the owner holds himself to. I would go again any time.
Wow... I’ve been here with my husband a number of times and really enjoyed the food, but after trying to make a reservation and being completely berated over the phone by the owner, we won’t be back. Some businesses closed to observe the day of truth and reconciliation, so I called to ask if they were indeed open. The owner replied in the most condescending way that if I even had to ask that, then the restaurant was not for me! He repeated about 10x - Not for you! Feeling kind of confused by his reaction, I explained that I was asking if there were any tables available and he barked back asking when would I like to come in, so I replied that we were driving through the area so we could be there in a few minutes. He yelled back at me that’s not how it works. So I asked him to let me know when he had a table available, and he yelled again that oh he’d let ME know in a threatening kind of tone. So he threw out a time which was more than an hour from then, so I paused to think about it and he said okay have a good night! And hung up on me. There are plenty of other restaurants where you don’t get verbally abused over the phone.

I loved my veal picatta, my partner raved about his sicilian veal, our friends loved their fresh salmon he said it was the best salmon he'd ever had in a restaurant!. Excellent wine choices. Fine dining; however, not overly expensive. Veal dishes were served with fresh pasta. Large portions. A really enjoyable evening. Other patrons also seemed to be having a great evening. Espresso was also excellent. Highly recommended! We'll be back!
