Ordered a pizza for take out from this establishment. The first one we got contained no pizza sauce, though we had requested extra sauce. Called and complained and the manager tried to satisfy complaint and delivered us a second pizza. Second pizza contained maybe 2 table spoons of sauce. This despite the manager saying that they measure all the ingredients for the pizza. Honestly if you like your pizza to contain sauce order elsewhere. First and second pizza replacement included in the photos.
There are not enough stars to rate this restaurant. I would personally give them 9 stars for food and 10 stars for the service we got from Zach our server. My wife had the Calzone,and I had the best Pizza I have had in Winnipeg. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet considering it was almost full. I will say that Cafe 22 is a premier restaurant in Winnipeg and if you get a chance...check it out.
Pizza was amazing and the price is affordable. The waitress was great. We sat outside on the patio, they have umbrellas for shade and speakers playing music.
Fantastic Italian food in Winnipeg! Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’m originally from the East Coast so I’m used to NY Style pizza. Also, great apps and salads. Get a Negroni if you’re there they don’t play around, it’s boozy but delicious!! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real authentic Italian food. Been here twice and can’t wait to go back again!
I’ve been here a few times now. I’m my most recent visit I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and added bacon and pepperoni, and did an order of wings mixed with hot sauce and honey garlic. Most of the pizzas are pretty good. I’ve had a few dishes of their pasta as well - which are really good. Most of the times the wings are good but I felt like in my most recent visit, the wings were mediocre at best. I’ve also tried the meatballs - they’re amazing, the beets are also pretty good.nnThe service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is really nice. The best part is that they’re open late and there’s always a spot for you when you go.
