Great place to have coffee in Old Montreal area coz the interiors blended well with the overall feel of the area. The cafe is also intertwined with Hotel William Gray and Vetement Le Cartel.nnI got the flat white, tiramisu and for take home- their beans and coffee-scented candle. The coffee was really good-full bodied, rich and strong. Tiramisu could be better though since I couldn’t really taste the mascarpone.nnIf at once you enter the cafe from St. Vincent and it seems full, just go round past Le Cartel, you’ll see more seating shared by hotel guests of William Gray.
A nice place hidden in old Montreal. The atmosphere is lovely with exposed stone. Limited seating so go early or prepare to take your coffee to go. Friendly staff, delicious cappuccinos! Highly recommend it while walking through old Montreal.
A Must-Visit for Coffee Lovers!nnAs a tourist in Montreal, I had about five days to hit up as many cafés and restaurants as I could. Café Olimpico kept popping up in TikTok recommendations, and while I’m usually skeptical of viral spots, curiosity got the best of me—and I’m so glad it did.nnI ordered an affogato because I wanted to try something new that I don’t usually get at cafés, and I love ice cream. It exceeded my expectations. I’ve honestly been thinking about that drink at least once a day since. The espresso-flavoured ice cream was amazing—not too sweet or overpowering, which I really appreciated—and the espresso itself stood out with bold, smooth flavour.nnThe day before, I’d gone to another hyped café where the coffee tasted burnt, so I wasn’t expecting much. But this? Café Olimpico impressed me. I genuinely wish I had brought some coffee beans back with me.nnThe interior was cozy, welcoming, and full of character—the kind of place you just want to sit and take it all in. If I lived nearby, I know I’d be stopping in at least once every couple of weeks.
Had a strong delicious double espresso and 2 bombolinis. Loved it. Atmosphere is fantastic. Great place to start your morning in Old Montreal. Going back tomorrow!
I I recently had the pleasure of visiting Notre Dame de Montreal, but before that, I made a stop at Olimpico, and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, making it the perfect spot to relax. I ordered a coffee and a pistachio pastry, and they were both amazing. The coffee was rich and satisfying, while the pistachio pastry struck the perfect balance—it wasn't too sweet, just the way I like it. Overall, my experience at Olimpico was delightful, and it added a lovely touch to my day. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
