I absolutely loved this little cozy café. On a roadtrip we decided to stop and check this place out for brunch. Wish i had a spot like this back home to visit more frequently!! I dont speak french so i used google translate and luckily some of the workers spoke some english too. This place motivated me to want to come back again some day! Coffee was amazing I would’ve drank the whole mug in 1 minute but then I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy sip by sip and enjoy the atmosphere and view of the waterfront. Food was different than what I’m used to in usa so that was a nice change and it was tasty. Loved the smiley face on the plate : Thank you for sharing that glimmer of joy with your customers! Visited on a weekday and found parking in their parking lot but i can see it being a little difficult to find parking on high peak season or weekends.
This cafe was super cozy! You could sit down and watch people chatting while you enjoyed your meal. We ordered grilled cheese and a croissant with cheese, and they were absolutely delicious! I’d definitely come back to try other dishes.
A very nice café, nice people. Excellent atmosphere and beautiful views on the Chambly lake. The place has a personality and very thoughtful eco-friendly touches. A great selection of art and coffee accessories are available for sale. I am rating it 4 stars because the latté I ordered was far from the best. Also a bit pricey $7.50 for a small latte, including tip and tax. A nice spot to get some work done, but the table where I sat says in a nice way max one hour as shown in one of the pictures. Not sure if all tables had the same sticker.
I went to two other places before I found this one which was the place recommended to me. It is. Gorgeous little spot and my favourite of the three . What an outlook all of them ha here though !nnDallying here with that dark sky may be unwise. Hopefully I am heading away from the storms!nnThe lass at counter detecting my terrible French immediately changed to flawless English .making my learning and payment very easy indeed . Very nice staff here and the antioxidant snoothy and croissant were both wonderful !
After a long trip cycling to Chambly and looking for a café, I discovered this cafe just beside the Canal de Chambly and give it a try. For a café that located in a touristic area, they have a really good coffee and pastry. Their beans are from Québec, and their pastries are fresh and home made. The iced café latte tastes really good too and balance between the ice, the milk and the espresso. The croissants are really good, soft inside and crunchy outside. This café also has an outside terrasse, which giving a very nice view of the Bassin de Chambly and the Mont Saint-Hilaire too in the distance.
