Mike Shore is an apprentice coffee roaster and starry-eyed lover of fine consumables, working to realize a long-time dream of participating in the local food economy. In his words: “It is a joy and a privilege to share one's heart with others, by any means. Mine is an eating and drinking kind of heart!”
Mike will be trained and assisted by roast master Joël Béland, who acquired amazing skills and a devoted following through his five-year stint at Café de Joël/Joël’s Coffee.
Mike and Joël look forward to bringing awesome, fresh, locally roasted, fair trade and organic certified coffee back to the region!
Mike Shore est un apprenti torréfacteur et amateur de bonne bouffe qui rêve depuis un bon moment de participer à l'essor de la production alimentaire et de l'économie locale. Un grand homme au grand cœur, il croit que la qualité de vie passe par le partage, et que le partage est facilité par la bonne bouffe et les bons breuvages.
Mike sera formé et épaulé par Joël Béland, qui a développé ses talents de torréfacteur, et une certaine renommée, pendant les cinq années d'opération de Café de Joël/Joël’s Coffee.
Mike et Joël ont très hâte de ramener l'expérience d’un café superbe, fraîchement torréfié, certifié bio et équitable, à la communauté régionale.
