Holy cow! Had first visit several months ago & what a great place. Great food, huge selection of beer and super friendly staff. Asked for a suggestion and once they understood my likes, they suggested a tremendous import that was on tap. It was served in an interesting contraption (like a wooden handle) that held the glass (guessing so your hand did not heat up the glass while touching?) Have been by since and will definitely be a go to spot! Thanks Benelux!

I've been to this restaurant twice and I've been amazed both times. They have an amazing list of different types of beers that is over 20 pages long! Each entree has a drink paring suggestion. And they are vegetarian friendly. I've had their mac n' cheese where their cheese sauce was made out of goat cheese and brie among other cheeses. They also had an entree called pesto squash “noodles” which was amazing. They cut up vegetables in the shape of curly noodles and cooked it with what I can only assume to be homemade pesto and topped with shredded Parmesan and so much more (mushrooms, walnuts, and other veggies). This isn't for everyone since it's basically entirely vegetables, but the taste is phenomenal. I hope to come here again soon for another amazing meal.

As big of a place it is, it has a cozy, close knit feel. The food is very delicious and the beer is bar none. Will definitely be there again.

My friend and I went here on a Friday night this summer and I thought it was ok, but not great. I've been to several other Benelux/Hollander locations in the MKE metro area and this is my least favorite.
The rooftop tables that they have are so uncomfortable! My friend and I both ordered entrees, and we had to stagger our plates just so that they could both fit across from each other without falling off of the table. Then, about halfway through the meal, another couple was seated right next to us. It felt extremely claustrophobic. I know that 'trendy' seating in restaurants is really popular right now, especially because it often lets places maximize their profits, but this is one example where it's definitely at the expense of their patrons' comfort.

Massive beer selection, fantastic breakfast, decent lunch/dinner. The BELT & A is the best thing I've eaten in Milwaukee. Usually busy but you can put your name in line using the NoWait app, just remember to tell the hostess you've arrived.
