Great service. Cute retro laid back country atmosphere. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the hearty clam chowder, small size was quite filling with big chunks of seafood. The Oyster burger with coleslaw: very juicy and crisp; . Got the smaller portion cod and fries... just enough to satisfy craving. Fries were crisp, rugged cut and so good with malt vinegar and ketchup Parking: Loads of parking in the plaza, but poor traffic flow design, can get congested.
Wow!! These are seriously some of the best fish and chips I have ever had! And plus, it's all you can eat with a bottomless soda included in the 17.99 deal! Amazing! The batter on the fish was so light, crispy, fragrant, and not too greasy! Best fish batter ever! The fish itself was also fresh and flaky. And the fries were crispy and tasted of great potato quality. The fish and chips are made hot and fresh to order. Whatever they are doing, they are doing right. What a gem. The service was also amazing. There is great quality real food served here for an amazing deal. Highly impressed. Would definitely eat here again. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for fish and chips.
Fish and chips!!! The fish pieces were substantial, and came wrapped in paper/newspaper for takeout. The fries were a little on the soggy side, would have preferred them a crispier. That said, great overall meal. The coleslaw was actually tasty and the chicken tenders were ...quite tender. Really great and friendly service, it didn't take long to get the food ready. I've been there once, everything was good... although we waited quite a long time... Next time we came the service was terrible... We ordered two portions of food... When the child doesn't want to eat anymore the staff says you can't share the portion of food! Although what difference does it make to them if I paid for the food and it's my case what to do with it!! I regret that I got to this cafe through the whole city!!! this is my last visit to this cafe!!! The customer pays for your food! Your task is to do everything so customers must be happy…. Now you lost three customers from Ukraine . Think about it as you have a lot of reviews about bad service…..
The battered layer on the fish was light and crispy. They seem to cook the fish by order, so it’s fresh and hot. All-you-can-eat can eat option comes with a bottomless pop. They start you off with a plate of fish and fries, and then you can order more from there. The other menu options are good as well. Our server was very attentive and kind, even though she was the only one manning the floor at the time and it was getting busy. The restaurant interior has a nostalgic family-friendly ambiance—it reminded me of restaurants I went to in the States with my family as a child in the early 2000s. If you like fish and chips, or are craving it this is a great option. Highly recommend!
Good place to come to get all you can eat fish, chips, and pop. The service is quick and friendly. You will need your vaccine card to eat here. The fish was lightly battered.
My first time at C-Lovers, and the halibut and chips were delicious. Some fish n' chips restaurants treat their coleslaw as an afterthought, making it bland; but the coleslaw at C-Lovers was very tasty indeed.
Had a good experience today. Food was a little slow coming out but they are short staffed. Not going to make that a issue. I want to give a shout out to Rachel my waitress today and she can use this customer review anytime as a customer reference in future job applications. She was very attentive to our tables every need. She was responsive and quick and checked on us at the right times. The level of conversation was perfect and between all this I saw her cleaning tables and looking after a lot of other customers just as good. She made our visit very pleasant and is a absolute asset to C-Lovers. Thank you Rachel.
Disappointed. Ordered a 2 PC cod meal with coleslaw and tartar sauce. Picked it up, brought it home - no fries?? Phoned in, the male manager wasn't at all apologetic, said that's what I ordered. I'd called the order in and wasn't asked if I was excluding fries....I wonder how often people just order fish? I asked if a fresh meal could be made so it would be all hot and fresh. He very reluctantly agreed. The original fish was brought back, but they insisted we pay an extra 5.25 for the fries. We were told the staff taking the order was new. Mistakes happen but the extra charge means we won't be back.
This is the very best fish restaurant I have ever eaten in. The fish is fresh and the batter on the fish and onion rings is very light and crispy, almost melts in your mouth. AMAZING. I will definitely be returning there for a meal!!!Food: 5/5
