First time here. We were able to sit outside in the portable tent. Patio restrictions due to Covid. But it was all good even though the rain was coming down it was a very nice experience. Looks like the locals hang out here for fun with friends. We ordered quite a few appetizers such as escargot, spinach dip, coconut shrimp, and veggie quesadillas, and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The service was good too. Food took a bit long to arrive but it was worth the wait. Will definitely go here again.
Great staff, great location. The chef is amazing and all the bartenders know there stuff. Would highly recommend to come here no matter time or day. Wings are to die for!!!! Especially Wednesday and Sundays because it is 75Cents a wing ! Photos are proof on how big the wings are!
Today is Grand Opening Day for Kings Tavern in Keswick, Ontario. Ribbon Cutting ceremony was attended by MP Scot Davidson, Major Margaret Quirk and Councillor Mike Waddington too. This one restaurant offers a fantastic menu.
Nice pub, greeted promptly by the sole front of house staff. Took drink order within minutes. Minus 1 star as they don't serve craft beer. Ended up having a Stella at least that was available. Having the wings; Wednesday and Sunday on special for 65¢ per wing. Veg Spring Roll starter underwhelming -1/2 star 3.5 stars. The wings were excellent what you would expect for a good pub wing. No hesitation to recommend CJ's. Waitress ran front of house like a pro. Finally tally 4.5 stars.
Food and staff were amazing. Check out the kind of stuff they serve. Fresh, delicious, local...worth it.
We're moving to Keswick in the next few weeks. Heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. I had the wings and fry combo, and I have to say they were the best wings I've had. My wife had the beef dip and she said it was awesome. Our waitress Stacy was very friendly and helpful. I think the Kings Tavern will be our go to pub.
The this bar came under a new management in the last couple weeks the menu has so many options! I had the beef dip thought it was great. They have excellent fries and their bloody Mary was great! My friend had the jambalaya with the fresh pasta also pretty good. I would 100% go back the next time I'm in Lake Simcoe area.
I stumbled upon this bar looking for a bite to eat with friends awhile ago but just thought of reviewing this place now since I'll be up in that area next week. The decor needs an upgrade but their food was great, I had wings which was surprisingly good, not dry, and their service was good, their server was friendly and always checked on us. I liked that. There also happened to be a one-person band that was playing that evening. The banner behind the musician said "Rockslide" I'm assuming that was his name. He was pretty good, sounded like a full band, never seen a one-man band before, he was entertaining and engaging the crowd. His music was a mixed of everything, his music was not too loud, the beat was great and a few customers went up to dance too. It was fun. I'll be heading up there soon, let's hope the consistency remains high.
Amazing food, large portions. The menu has so many options. The staff are friendly. We will definitely visit again soon.
Food here is fantastic, especially the wide selection of sandwiches. Also has a good choice of children's meals. Will definitely stop by again next time.
