I have lived at many locations around the country and I have never had better service than at Butler Electric. I would give them 6 stars if I could. They're responsive, mostly nice people, on time, and as far as i can tell, being an electronics engineer skilled at their jobs. Just wanted to say thanks to them for working in storms and other times when you wouldn't want to do it yourself. Oct. 2021-- I still think Butler Electric is one of the best I've seen in terms of responsive service and caring about the people they serve. It's only sad that all electric utilities can't be this good.
We LOVE the Butler Electric Guys. Nor Rain nor Sleet, nor Snow, or Floods, or cars hitting poles will stop them from immediately responding to an outage. This past weekend We were having a party for about 80 guests. The old transformer in front of our home blew. They were there within 10 minutes of us calling them. While we had to wait for a new transformer they restored temporarily the power so we could have fans AC and Music for our party, as well as water and flushing toilets with a well no power no water! They then warned us when they were shutting off, and had a new one in place pretty quicky. The people attending my party were amazed at how quickly they came, and it was a holiday weekend. They have always been there for us, we live in the woods, and have had a few trees come down, and they always arrived within 10-15 minutes and have it as quickly as possible restored. They were here DURIING Hurricane Sandy fixing lines that were down from a fallen tree. The next day they had our lines restored, unfortunately the powere was out everywhere! I just would like to send my appreciation to all the wonderful guys at Butler Electric
This electric company is literally THE WORST. 1 horrible costumer service !!! Linda and Celeste the women who answer the phones are always so passive aggressive on the phone and rude when u have a simple question. Even in person they have Horrendous people skills. They made my experience with this company so much worse . They should be given a class on manners . 2 Butler electric claims to have “the cheapest electric ever “ LIES they have the “craziest most expensive electric EVER” I lived in a ONE bed room apartment and paid $250 for electric each month!!!!! And on top of that we had to pay a $450 security deposit !! . So happy to out of butler and that’s only because of BUTLER ELECTRIC. GOOD RIDDANCE
Butler Electric is awesome! Earlier this evening, we lost power due to the storm. I called Butler Electric and a PERSON, yes...a real live person, answered the phone. He asked my address and told me there was a problem in my area and that they were on their way to address it. He then asked for my phone number. A couple of hours later, another PERSON, yes...a real live person, called to make sure our power was back on. Now that's service! Why can't all businesses respond like this?
With electric heat our bill was still under 100$ these other reviews saying they paid 250$ electric bills must have been using CRAZY amounts of energy. More than happy to pay this price! and never had issues with Customer service eitheryet
Lack of participation in solar energy program is my only concern. They use 3rd party website for payment processing which is also a bit of a challenge. Other than that service is good. Had one interaction with customer service - which was ok.
Lady who helped me set my electric, water and sewer was great. Took 5 minutes to set everything up and I felt great right after. they do not offer gas. PSEG did for me
I am a new customer so i dont know how reliable their service is but ive heard only good things and offer the cheapest price for electric utilities in the area. My only issue is that they are not opened on saturday for working people. Their weekday hours of operation is almost impossible for the average working person. However the personnel here work quickly and are very helpful. Free surface parking lot.
Worst power company ever. Lived in a few different places never lost power this much ever... ridiculous there isn't even any storms. oh and forget about trying to report power outage after 5pm. You'll just get an answering machine. Better electric service in boondocks Alaska.
It’s nice to have a company who answers the phone and helps. Very friendly. Was concerned with a small company moving up here. But so far I think you guys are great. Even had a power outage and the phone was answered by a person. Keep up good work
