Climb a few steps into this small hill you will have a very nice view of the harbor and the Great Slave Lake. It could be windy on the hill, bring your jacket so you can stay longer and enjoy the scenery.
Great view of the float plane, the houseboats, the Great Slave Lake and Old Town. Worth the walk up the steps!

Bush Pilot's Monument and Just Coming Up to this Lookout is a MUST. Those Bus Pilots were Crazy Cowboys of the North. Props. Great Views as Well held Here of the Surrounding Area.
Excellent dedication to the pilots who explored the northern NWT.. From here you get a great view of Yellowknife Harbour and the islands situated in Great Slave Lake. If you are out of shape the walk up the stairs could get you breathing a little harder. The monument is also close to a number of Yellowknife's best restaurants and cafes.
A Lovely look out point with a great view. The staircase is a bit treacherous, but exercise normal caution and you'll be fine. Once at the top you can see for miles, and from the ground this site is visible from most of the old town, making it a good landmark.
Good sightseeing location not only day time but also at night, can see aurora to north side!!
Very nice look out point. Great views of old town and the lake, walking distance to The Wildcat cafe if you get hungry from the walk up the stairs.
