Burnstown Beach is a great stop along Calabogie Rd just before you get to Burnstown corner. There is a great family beach with a new playground and sand to play in. The beach area is buoyed off in the water. There is a washroom facility for summer season. Also a great boat launch. It is easy to miss along the road but it is just before you hit Burnstown corner.
Fantastic beach! We just spent the entire day at Burnstown beach and had a wonderful time. The beach is so clean and sandy. I really appreciate how everyone cleaned up after themselves. No garbage anywhere in the sand. The play structure was an added bonus. Can't wait to go back
Great beach although as a local we find it too busy now in the summers for us to go regularly. We go more often in the spring or fall to use the playground and play at the waters edge. Beautiful spot to spend the day though. The swimming is great.
Pretty small beach and the sand is pretty basic. On the right side of the beach, there is this nice dock that does an offer a nice view and good place to grab something to eat and chill. To go if it's in your way, but otherwise not worth the drive
This is such a beautiful gem of a beach. The current is not strong at all and the scenery is gorgeous.
ABSOLUTELY gorgeous beach must visit sandy bay and clear waters. Well taken care of.
Nice river beach. Parking is small though.
Nice place to paddle from Burnstown launch to/past Cherry point, to dam & back. Most motor boat drivers are mindful of slower boats & slow down as they pass.
This place is a slice of heaven. Lovely beach, well maintained, great play structure, mature and lovely pines, the Matawaska River at this spot is quite picturesque. Nice little concession stand with reasonably priced acceptable fair. Great place
Probably one of my favourite beaches in Ontario. Very relaxing beach.
