My go to place to camp. Nearby, clean, ample things to do and quiet at night.

Probably the best trails in the area. Some small hills, which is really rare for this area. Plenty of ponds. I'd have mosquito repellent on hand though, I haven't needed it this year yet, but the bugs are already getting worse. Short of driving to starved rock or the dells they're the best trails I've found in chicagoland.

Staff are great people. For residents it's $15.00 non resident $25.00 bon fire's great place for family and friends. You can put tents up as well.
