Very great station, it’s a clean and smooth experience. Went here on the way to Niagara Falls and staff were super helpful. Would highly recommend going here if you take the GO Train to Niagara Falls? Not sure how I would recommend a GO Train station but just saying it’s good.
Burlington GO Station, a major transit hub in Burlington, Ontario, serves commuters traveling to and from Toronto and surrounding areas via GO Transit trains and buses. Here’s a summary of pros and cons based on user reviews:nnPros:nn1. Convenient Location: Situated near major highways and residential areas, Burlington GO Station offers easy access for commuters.nn2. Parking Availability: The station has a large parking lot with plenty of spaces, making it convenient for drivers. There are also options for both free and reserved parking.nn3. Public Transit Connections: It connects well with local Burlington Transit buses, providing smooth transfers for those traveling within the region.nn4. Clean and Well-Maintained: Users frequently mention that the station is kept clean and has a modern design with recent renovations that improved facilities.nnCons:nn1. Crowds During Peak Hours: Like most GO stations, it can be very busy during rush hours, which may lead to long wait times and crowded platforms.nn2. Limited Amenities: The station has basic facilities, but some travelers feel it lacks options for dining and retail compared to larger stations.nn3. Ticket Kiosk and Customer Service: Limited ticket kiosks and sometimes long lines for assistance can be frustrating for new users or those needing help with ticketing.nnOverall, Burlington GO Station is praised for its convenience, parking, and cleanliness. However, peak-hour crowds and limited amenities are common complaints.
Great station with plenty of parking in the north parking lot. The South parking lot has limited parking though it is the transit hub and taxi stand. Better on the south side for pickup and dropping off. Free WiFi. Well patrolled by Metrolinx. Clean facility. Well marked. Parking lots are easy to access. Very busy during rush hour.
I actually love going to Burlington GO! The ride is nice and relaxing to get there from St. Cats! But once you get there, it’s not hard to navigate. The boards and schedules are quite clear and easy to locate and so are the ticket vendors and kiosks. The bathrooms are always clean and spacious to use!nnThe only thing I will take off one point for is that the elevators need to be tended to more often and efficiently. It makes it very difficult for disabled, injured or pregnant individuals or mothers with strollers to access the platforms.nnThe fact that there is a Tim’s is a huge bonus! Food and refreshments before you board?! Yes please!!!
I love getting on the Go bus and visiting Burlington for the day. I love the Tim Hortons inside the Burlington Go station. Your Burlington Go station is very nice inside, spacious and warm. It's much better than our bus terminal in St Catharines where I live. The Burlington Go station could use a few extra women's washroom stalls though, cause there's often a line up for the bathroom
