Having not eaten much vegan food before, I did not really know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! I was so taken aback by how much the impossible burger tasted like the real deal. Did not make me miss meat one bit. Along with great taste, the place has great service, sizeable portions, a fun vibe being right on a busy street, and a GREAT playlist! The last bit really elevates the entire experience and made me spend many more hours than I initially intended to! I will definitely be back for more. 10/10 would recommend!
I LOVE this place, one of my new favorites Lovely customer service and the food is delicious. Everything is vegan but doesn't taste like it whatsoever. The chicken fingers were so crispy and the sauces complemented them perfectly. The crispy chicken burger was good but my personal favorite is the American burger which very much resembled a big mac.. the "meat" was even a little pink in the middle Highly recommend this place for people with celiac or a glutenfree diet, the glutenfree bun was the best I ever had. The food did not taste vegan or glutenfree AT ALL. And that says enough
This place is amazing! Vegan burgers and toppings, and everything gluten-free. I eat meat, but this burger is very filling. I had the patty Hello123 lentil, mushroom and walnut, and my husband had Chick burger portobello mushroom, and nachos. Super delicious and tasteful. The owner and staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Burger Tree especially if you are vegan!
Deep fried mushrooms were so good; great breading. Satisfies the 'deep fried' craving without trying to be like chicken. Chocolate shake was *really* good too. I love that you can also get Kupfert & Kim from the same place, and it uses the same order-at-the-counter style, which I find so convenient and preferable to having a waiter. It was a very comforting winter's Sunday afternoon here.
I got the chickn and waffles and was disappointed. I'm vegan and the quality and taste was not there. I had two small pieces of chickn and the waffle tasted off to me. It also didn't come with any maple syrup. Hopefully their burgers are better.
I love Burger Tree, they have a great menu and great service. Although for somewhere that prides yourself is gluten free, you would think that it would be a little more careful. I have lots of people with celiac in my family and have taken them to this restaurant and we always loved it. They would have gotten 5 stars if the following did not happen. The one time I went alone, there was an entirely new set of employees I've never seen before. I found a long strand of hair in my cauliflower bites by the time I was almost finished my food. Aside from almost throwing it all up out of disgust, I was just so upset and appalled that that had even happened. If it was one of my cousins who has celiac eating those bites, they could have potential gotten sick from eating food that was cross contaminated with someone's gross hair that is probably filled with products containing gluten. I took my bowl to the cashier desk just to let them know that this is a place that people with a literal disease depend on for food once in a while and that that one strand of hair could have gotten someone else sick. I am grateful that it was my bowl of food and not someone who could have gotten sick from it. I was offered a refund which I didn't want to take because I didn't speak up to get a refund, it was out of genuine concern so I just told them to keep the money and take this criticism seriously. If you are a gluten free restaurant and you know you cater to people who will literally get sick if you make silly mistakes like that, do better. and wear some hair nets. and get the employees to wash their hands more. I made this post to let any celiacs or gluten intolerant people to be careful and more mindful when eating here. It is amazing food but I am worried this stuff happens often.
Note: this is inside the Kupfert & Kim location. It's really good! The burger texture was perfect and there were plenty of options for shakes as well.Food: 5/5
Yum! Had the Hello123 burger made of lentil/walnut/mushrooms on a classic gf bun whole place is GF as a cheezburger with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. And a Montreal orange julep milkshake!
Good food, generous portions. Affordable price, especially for the area. I would recommend it. Vegetarian options: As far as I can tell it's a vegan restaurant, so there are definitely vegetarian options. Wheelchair accessibility: It was at street level and there was an automatic door. I didn't go to the bathroom, so I sont know about that part.
Went here a couple of days ago, and ate this sandwich and their chocolate milkshake it’s so amazing, and to die for.
