Burger King

A bit and a bob of ratchet and sobs... A standard bk in comparison to others I've been to. The speed of service is fast as usual, the cashier void of emotions. Everyone wants to get their food and leave. The restaurant is a little run down. There is no ketchup pump and you must ask someone at the counter for packets. Why not just put the packets where the pump once was? There was also once a jukebox on display that would play music, but sadly it was removed. This burger king has become yet another generic chain location. A standard chain store. The ice cream is actually really good-- nice and thick, the rest is standard.

When I arrived here, there was one lady standing out front smoking. I walked inside and there were no customers. I stood at the counter for about two minutes before a second lady finally came to help me. She said something about us being the only ones there. I found that odd since most of the places where I have worked have some sort of chime to indicate when someone enters the building. I placed my order. She was very helpful, although she seemed annoyed. She did not rush me in any way. I appreciated that she made my food fresh, rather than serving me what had been sitting out when I arrived. As she was making my food, the first lady returned from her smoke break. She washed her hands and gave me my bag. I returned to the counter, as my order was incomplete. The two ladies were in the back talking, and it took them a while to realize that I was standing at the counter. The first lady approached, and I told her that I was missing a sandwich. She double checked the order. I was slightly bothered because I was the only one there, and it seemed like she thought I was lying. After she saw the order, she found the sandwich and gave it to me. At least four of the tables were dirty when I sat down. Kind of unacceptable for an empty restaurant that has only been open for 90 minutes. I only went here because it was the closest restaurant to my hotel. I doubt that I will return.

Love the Whoppers made my way. They have a great deal on chicken nuggets 10 for $1.49. They could improve their value menu though.

Clean table and floor. Burgers are real taste of meat. Good!
