Burger Fiancé

Perfect vegan burger joint near Old Montreal. Wide variety of options and a monthly special that makes coming here frequently very enticing. Pictured is the monthly special “I don’t give a duck” and it was an amazing pulled pork style burger that was sweet yet tangy. The waffle fries are a 10/10, so much so that I ate them prior to the burger. Didn’t rate the place 5 only because I found the food to be too salty and the sauce on my burger was too overwhelming, although I wouldn’t let that deter you from trying!

My favourite vegan burger place. I particularly love their Pulled "Pork" burger. Their Kimchi fries are also delicious I’m always satisfied when I order from them. Only this time around, a little bit disappointed about the service and the order. As seen on the picture, the Fried Chick-en” Sandwich looked like it was made in haste. Their vegan mayo is very good and is spread around the bun evenly, but this time it was just a blob. Also we called 30-40 minutes before picking up the order and it still wasn’t ready when we arrived and had to wait an extra 15 minutes. We’ve only ordered take out with them and that has not happened before so not sure what was the issue this time especially when there was only 2 people in the restaurant. Thus the reasons for the 4 stars.

Note that I am not vegan nor vegetarian, but I found the food very good! I had the Fiancé Burger and my friend had the chicken nuggets which were mushroom based. It looks like chicken when you bite into it but the texture is totally different. It was very very good! We also go a serving if large waffle fries fries to share, they were crispy and great.

I don’t eat beef but my husband was really craving a hamburger so this spot was perfect! I ordered the cheeseburger and he got the fiancé burger. Both had the impossible patties and they were delicious! We also shared a bowl of the mac n cheese with “pulled pork” which was so tasty. I wish we had these in Texas!

This might just be my new favorite restaurant. No joke. My first time here and I was blown away by the deliciousness of the food. I got the super 13 salad that was so good, cauliflower bites, amazing, and the brownie, out of this world. I also had a bite of my fiancée’s Fiancé Burger haha and I was envious! We also split the waffle fries, and you just can’t go wrong with fried potatoes. But please please please hire more servers! The ones there are doing an amazing job and working their butts off, and they need more help to provide their best quality service!

My friend and I decided to try this vegan eatery after an event. Although we both are not vegans, we wanted to try something new and different and this was different. We both ordered veggie burgers and a couple of drinks. The “veggie burger” itself doesn’t hold well like a meat does so it’s a little “mushy”. This veggie smash burger looks quite appealing and the taste is pretty good! The decor is relaxed and the service is friendly. There’s no dedicated parking so you’ll need to find an open metered spot or a paid lot. Prices are decent for a downtown eatery. Fast food vegan? This is a great spot!

Really good vegan food. Couldn’t even tell that the burger wasn’t meat. The portions are big and the flavours are good. Really enjoyed the kimchi waffle fries. The burgers were ok but nothing extraordinary. A good option for vegans!

Fast-casual vegan restaurant with great food and drinks cocktails at reasonable prices. Fries are sold separately from the burgers but there's many options; the Kimchi fries are 10/10. Happy hour menu is also available if you're early enough.Food: 5/5

Fully plant based restaurant with a very cute atmosphere close to the old town and the service was great. The “side” kimchi fries were a meal in itself. The pulled pork is highly recommended as well. They serve alcohol and specialty cocktails so a great place to go for a drinks and appetizer, or get an oat milkshake!

Fiancé Burger Double / House smash burger, veggie-bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheeze, sautéed mushrooms & red pepper, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, fiancé sauce. . Have to say this burger is quite delicious from @burgerfiance I honestly don't miss the meat in it. When I'm saying I don't miss the meat, that's saying something! Haha . Everything was great we got the Mac and Cheese with "pulled mushrooms", the kimchi fries and the fried chicken "mushroom" burger which was amazing! . Glad I came and checked them out and this weekend coming up I'm probably going to check out another vegan spot so stay tuned
