Burger Daddy

I’m a burger pizza steak man! This place has finally impressed me. You eat some hardcore real burgers. Nothing fast food like. More like home made. Burgers are juicy and flavourful. Rich in protein and some fat which is ideal. My go to place now and on. Five stars for making a good burger in edmonton!

Well another burger place we decided to try. Burger Daddy is a pretty cool looking restaurant and we liked the mural they have on the feature wall and the place was well kept and clean. Lots of seating and tables and fresh looking. What you'd expect of a burger featured restaurant so we decided to try them out. Our menu today we decided to go with the classic Daddy with cheese onions pickles lettuce and OG sauce and the magic mushroom burger which had sauteed mushrooms swiss cheese and daddy sauce and we were told about the onion rings that they bring in which are a premium onion ring. Our first impression of the onion rings were very good, they were golden brown and had a nice crisp to it when you bite into them but yet a very nice thick cut onion on the inside which was flavorful to the palate and we quite enjoyed these. The classic Daddy's bun was lightly toasted and was topped with fresh ingredients very nicely but I noted the seasoning may have been a little bit strong for my palate and a burger was just a little bit dry at the time we had it. The magic mushroom burger's bun was also toasted nicely and we had swapped out the Swiss cheese for cheddar and I have to say the sauteed mushrooms we're cooked to a perfection and seasoned very nicely but again the burger patty seasoning was also a bit strong on seasoning and the burger was also a little bit dry. All in all we had a good meal. Because of my cooking experience my palate may be more sensitive than others and my likes may be different from many other people this is only my experience. As for the dryness of the burger it may be attributed to a little bit of overpressing on the meat thus removing too much of the juices. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this restaurant for those who want to try something a little different. Their burgers are made with fresh ground beef and all their toppings are prepared at the store fresh as well as a clean kitchen and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and I wish them all the best. I rate this place 7.2 on the Munch meter. Parking: There is more parking available than there is chairs in the restaurant so no reason not to visit.

Have been following Burger Daddy on Instagram for a while. Finally made it for a late lunch Sunday. I was not disappointed!! Had a Double Mack Daddy with Onion Rings. The burger was awesome and the Daddy Sauce was great. Bun, toppings, cheese and patties were well portioned and the Onion Rings were cooked just right, nice and crispy. I will definitely be back!! Can't wait for a location to open on the south side. Until then, I will gladly make the 30 min drive to go to Burger Daddy!

I was excited to give these guys a try as I found them on a social media post by accident. So I stopped by while I was nearby. Was not sure what to order, so I asked what they would recommend as this was my first time here, the guy recommended to try the “Big Bacon” I agreed and ordered a combo but I specifically requested to remove the onions from my burger, my guy said ok. When I got my burger, I was already drooling and could not wait to get my first bite, guess what I bit on my first bite? ONIONS!! Haha I did not feel like to complain so I just removed them from my burger. Overall the burger was delicious! I would come again if they promise not to put onions again lol. The fries was not my kinda fries. Overall it’s a 4 star for me.

BY FAR....best burger place we've been to!! My husband loves burgers so I've always tried to find the biggest, baddest burgers around for years! My husband got the double Magic Mushroom and I got the double Hot Mama, regular poutine and daddy size onion rings. I have to start with those jalapeños!! I love spicy and it is HARD to find good, spicy and CRUNCHY jalapeños....these were hot!! But they did not hide the taste of the burger! So I got to enjoy the spice, the crunch and the burger! My husband said his burger was awesome!! Everything seemed like just the right amount! The onion rings, the flavoring was spot on! I don't know how to describe it but they were good!! The poutine, yes I do agree....a great poutine has curds and not shredded mozzarella, still, this poutine was worth digging through the HUGE portion size for the regular to not leave any behind!! We travel through Edmonton from Calgary to go to my dad's and we always take the way through Fort Sask....we may have to come up Manning everytime now!! New favorite spot for sure!! ONLY NEGATIVE......your in Edmonton, not Calgary hahaha! Maybe one day you will open one there so we can enjoy more often!

Not a lot of places in Edmonton that deliver this kind of quality in a burger. I had the big daddy triple and onion rings and was not disappointed! Hard to believe it only has a rating of 4.5 the fact that they make real burgers is such a win for me. I will return with my family and be spreading the word. On a side note the place was very clean and that speaks volumes for me. Thanks guys

First time going tried the grilled cheese burger and it was amazing, second time tried the bacon daddy and now I don't think I can eat at another burger place. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Parking: Lots of parking available

I went for burgers with my wife. We each had a different type and shared so we could get a variety of taste. The Three Cheese was great and the Magic Mushroom was better than other mushroom burgers I have had. Onion rings were good, not too salty. A friend had died so I tried one of them too and they were good to. The price is affordable and based on quality and taste there is no argument to support going to the clown or the red head's restaurants. This is gourmet quality at reasonable pricing. Vegetarian options: A veggie burger is available. Parking: The parking is shared with other businesses in the building.

Beef burger was really good, while other were fine, surely gonna come back for beef with bacon burger.Food: 4/5

I’m a huge gourmet burger fan and I have to say this is the best burger in Edmonton. Hands down. It has everything going for it. Trust me. Give one of there burgers a try and you won’t be disappointed. Also the owner is a super awesome guy. He definitely as a passion for serving up some great tasting food. Kid-friendliness: They were more than happy to have my wife 4 young kids and I sit down and eat.
