This is an affordable and high quality restaurant. Cesar au poulet grille chicken salad was very filling and delicious. Poutine General Tao was a big surprise to me. The white hair lady at night was friendly, careful and considerate. She was patient with my sister’s attempt at French. We really enjoyed the meal that night, so we visited again the next morning for breakfast. Le Royal their breakfast combo was impressive and left us all very satisfied. We love BR.
Very filling and quality food. If you’re looking for Poutine, they have what you want. Superb! My wife had a chicken salad which was enormous and delicious. It has been in business since ‘56 and they’re doing it right. The staff was fast, friendly and appreciative of my attempts at French.
Cute diner, friendly staff, and great burgers. Menu is in French which presented some challenges. The waitress apologized she didn’t know much English but she certainly knew more English than we knew French. She was so gracious helping us place our order. Fun place for lunch. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again.
Great diner food! First time having Canadian diner food, and it was delicious. The staff are very friendly, and patient - as our party unfortunately don’t speak any French - only English. Menu is only in French, so some googling is required if you only know English.
Scrambled Eggs with no meat were a little expensive but very good... my son had the french fries with meat sauce on top was great .. they need to change their pictures it's all updated very nice it doesn't look like an old fashioned diner anymore very nice inside and outFood: 5/5
Such a great breakfast spot, since 1956, good old diner with a feel at home service.
The quintessential traditional Quebec diner with a few modern twists. Friendly prices. Good-sized portions and friendly efficient wait staff. A taste of my mom's or grandma and a rare find. Highly recommended.
Very good tasty food for dinner. Service was fast and friendly. I ate a hot hamburger and it was good even though I am not a hamburger person.
