Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centres

Very poor experience the first and only time we went there. Called over the phone to get a quote for an oil change. Gave them our exact make, model, and year of vehicle. They quoted us a price that was cheaper than everywhere else we had called. After getting the oil change done we found it was a good 40% more than what was quoted. When I raise the issue the person at the front desk said “that’s why we always say single ‘starting at...’ “. Firstly he absolutely did not say “starting at” on the initial call. Secondly if you have the exact make, model, year of the vehicle why would you not just give a quote for the actual price of the oil change. You already know what it would cost before even bring the vehicle down there. Total bait and switch. They were completely unwilling to give any kind of refund on the misquote. Reaching owner/management/head office to complain is impossible I couldn’t find a number anywhere online or elsewhere.

I took my truck here for a brake job. The guys were really good for explaining what needed to be done and giving me a timeline for future work that needed to be done. Very quick turn around on quality work.

As a 21 year old female with absolutely no knowledge about cars, having repairs done is about as high on my list of favourite activities as getting teeth pulled. HOWEVER, these guys have always made me feel comfortable. They have always given me fast friendly service, I have always been surprised at how low my bill is, they have always explained what they are doing and why they are doing it, and I would recommend them to everyone I know! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had auto troubles on a trip and they had us in and out in no time and did not charge us an arm and a leg. Highly recommend them.

I was a little sceptical when I found only good reviews, but trusted my gut and went here for some brake work. I had problems with seized anti-theft lug nuts and Doug gave me a quote and a time line. The guys in the shop did an awesome job busting off the seized bolts and the job was finished within 2 minutes of when Doug said it would be. No surprises, just a really good experience. Highly recommended.
