Went for the first time to celebrate a Christmas party, the place is cozy! Food was tasty, delicious and the service above average! Definitely coming again!
We went here for our annual family Christmas party. It was great. They gave us a private room. There was a Christmas tree and a fireplace. I ordered the hamburger with the gluten-free bun topped with guacamole, and a side salad. Our server and his co-worker were great, and did well with the large crowd. My only regret was having to leave.
Alicia took great care of us and got our dog a big bowl of water.. The nachos supreme was supreme. The ambiance was fantastic aided by a nearly full moon and a wonderful sunset.
This pet-friendly establishment has a pleasant, fenced-in, outdoor patio area where well-behaved dogs are welcome. The food is pretty good; they accommodated a substitution for blue cheese on my salad which was appreciated, but the chicken was overcooked and too dry. The clam chowder was decent. Our friend had a burger and waffle fries, and that's where this place excels. The fries were enormous, and reportedly delicious : Servers were pleasant and accommodating. It was a nice little day trip for us to Lansing, my little buddy and I would come back to Buddies.
Buddies is solid, affordable, and easy to get in and out of. You aren't going there for haute cuisine, but the specials are usually really good. I can't resist the world's largest quesadilla leftovers for at least one more meal. Not a huge fan of the iPad menu but it's fine.Food: 4/5

Build a burger with lots of bread and topping options. All entrees prepared as ordered and were very tasty. Service was quick and friendly.
Having both dining room or bar section is great. Sometimes you want to relax and eat, sometimes drink and watch the game. Some of the things on the menu will surprise you, some of the salads for example are amazing. They have daily meal specials too that keep things new. Options to build your own burger are extensive! Servers and bar staff are very attentive and friendly especially the ones that have been there a while. They always make us smile. Sometimes they get busy - but give them a break that's life now. There's also an outdoor patio in the summer.
Nice place, good atmosphere, and tasty food at good prices. The nachos and salads in particular are really good and value friendly if you don't want to spend a ton of money. Try their custom cocktails, those are pricier but worth it.
The food was wonderful and the service was above and beyond. Thank you for making our gathering fun and a pleasure to be there.
