Car broke down recently, and needed them to shuttle me to and from work because the buses didn't run early or frequent enough. I may have had to share a taxi once or twice, but they communicated well, and always got me to where I was going on time.nnI find a lot of the negative reviews here are expecting them to work like a private limousine service. They have a set number of drivers staffing specific shifts, and they are doing their best to handle all the incoming calls at any given moment.nnI would just call them when you're ready to be picked up, and ask politely how long it might take for them to get to you. If they can't get to you in time, just try another taxi service.
Good service, always available but bit expensive compared to taxi services in bigger cities. Clearly sets monopoly of local taxi services but with limited options you only have option to pay what they ask for. Sydney and Glacebay area has the same price no matter which taxi service we opt for. If they put bit price power thinking of international students and average income here that would be easy on pocket to students as well as local public.
No one should be calling buds taxi. The worst experience in the entire world. We booked taxi 12 hours before to reach Sydney Airport at 0140AM in the morning and I called again at 1030PM to remind as well as re ensure the taxi arrival in time. When the flight landed i contacted them and they told taxi is on the way and at 0200AM when I called again they are telling their Driver is at Sydney River and cannot come. This is how they operates. Ridiculous services.

Takes over an hour for them to move and the price is never the same 15-25$ for the same trip depending on who's driving
