Known for serving amazing hamburgers and burritos, Bubba’s has become a favorite Traverse City restaurant for people who are also seeking good beer, great drinks and great times.

Our menu features fried mac and cheese bites, humongous onion rings and seasoned french fries that will leave you craving more! On the lighter side, we serve up fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, and taco platters. There's truly something for everyone!

In the morning we offer a traditional – and not so traditional – breakfast. Eggs, omelets, burritos – we’ve got you covered!

Y'all know me! I love food, and I like non-chain places.... Bubba's is a winner! No waiting if you sit at the counter, and about 20 minutes otherwise. Now bear in mind, it's a phenomenally gorgeous day, and Bubba's is right across the street from Lake Michigan, so the place was packed. That's not surprising, because the food here is wonderful! I wasn't in the mood for bread, but they DO offer a gluten-free bun. Refreshing! Try it. You'll like it!
Bubba's was better than I expected. Did have a bit of a wait but were there on lunch as that's expected.nnThere's a large burger menu which I hear are great but also some amazing chicken sandwich options, which is what most of my group got. All were really good and so different.nnThere's also a few pretty good sounding salad options as well.nnMy kiddo didn't like the pretzel bites but they came with cheese and mustard sauce and another kid did like them. The tator tots and fries were good too.
Nice spot in downtown Traverse City! Came on a Monday evening and was able to say right away. Staff was friendly and attentive. Got the olive burger and the burger patty was cooked and seasoned perfectly and juicy. Flavor was delicious and wasn't overcooked like many places. Atmosphere was nice, kinda a bar vibe, but not over the top. Overall very happy with dinner!
A party of eight of us recently enjoyed dinner at Bubba's in Traverse City. This relaxed and informal burger joint boasts an impressive drink selection. The staff provided professional, prompt, and courteous service, and the burgers were truly exceptional, earning high praise from everyone. I highly recommend Bubba's and eagerly anticipate returning in the future.
Loved loved loved this place! We were passing through and did a little google search. So glad we chose this place. Good tap selection. Our server Carl was awesome! And then came the burgers! Blew my socks off. Got the Haystack Burger and the Shrek Burger. Both so good. We stayed longer than we planned and weren’t mad about it ! Oh, you’ll do street side parking and may walk a bit but it’s not a big deal.
