Bubar Brothers

Visiting this bar resulted in what was by far our best night in Paris. We went in for a single glass of wine and ended up spending almost 4 hours here making several new friends in the process. The owner has a simple motto: We talk about everything here but the wine, it's simply the social lubricant for the experience. He was absolutely right! Just to be safe, the wine was ofcourse excellent abd super affordable, but it was the experience that really made the night!

This is a very very special place. A genuine wine bar with no fluff, just joy and amazing wine. Jean Luc the owner is so welcoming and has almost as many tales of the world as he has amazing wines. Go and enjoy a bottle wine you’ll have 2

Worldly and unassuming wine bar with wonderful people and the most delightful owner. Wine is very available and affordable and the atmosphere is as friendly as can be. Perhaps related: Had a lovely conversation in Norwegian and I’m fairly sure I don’t speak Norwegian?!

The door was stiff and we wondered if it was the correct entrance, we heard "shut the door" from behind the bar... We were a little confused at first but as all the other reviews say, truly wonderful place, so unique, we too were in there for several hours trying all sorts on wine, 100% would advise you to go.

Literally the worst bar I’ve ever been to. Super bad smell of cheese upon entering, and to top it off we were greeted by a super rude bartender who basically yelled at us because we accidentally left the door a crack open. Horrible experience. Unless you like bad vibes, go anywhere else.

You should go because I t’s amazing. Remarkably affordable at 5 euro a glass. No pomp and no circumstance just great wines from around the world, served by a knowledgeable and friendly proprietor. We will be back

Quiet and unassuming from the outside but great fun on the inside. The owner is so welcoming, really lovely to chat to about everything and anything. Huge wine selection, the majority of which are not french wines which was a surprise, but still a great selection. Tonnes of posh rums, gins, whiskies etc to get stuck into as well. Great spot for a pre / post dinner drink.

Fun wine bar with a relaxed vibe and a gregarious personable bar keeper. A refreshing change of pace in Paris!
