The first time here with family an it was amazing.. food was delicious.. place was presentable neat, clean great atmosphere... my nephews never finish their food an here we had to order seconds for them an they had an amazing time ...they even danced a little... I recommend this place for sure ... I do wish their servings was a bit bigger like the rice an bean but overall great tasting...
I normally take pictures of my food but I failed to do so with Bryanna’s delivery from UberEats because it was so good! My family also loved it. We’re Nicaraguan but our food is very similar and we always had Salvadoran and Guatemalan food in Nicaragua and Miami as well. So, we loved it! Great portions and lots of sauces and salad too to go with the pupusas. Edit: Ordered again and did take pics of my food. Never misses!
A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The service was delightful and the parrillada and carne azada, which came with delicious sides and a wonderful sauce, were delicious. Although the house wines were both decent, it might good to have robust choices to go with the grilled meats. The end of the evening reviewing the bill was disappointing! Some of the items had a 15 to 20 percent higher price than listed on the menu. For example, a glass of house wine listed for 4.99 was cost us 6.33, a 20.2 percent difference. The server informed us that they were in the process of changing the menu. Although we decided not to challenge the extra charges, the experiences dampened what had been a good experience, and made us rethink the plan to return to the restaurant with our families.
Don't order online, call in your order. I like this restaurant, Ive been going for years. I'm giving 3 stars because the food is good but not 4 due to lack of management and online ordering errors. I recommend eating IN. Today was the first time I ordered online and the order wasn't ready and the prices were different than in office. The lady was nice enough to rush my order and troubleshoot. To the owner: please review the third party you use for online ordering and when your employee calls you, please be available or give her the authority to make decisions. The entire process took longer because we could not reach you.
I don't know if the owners sold the establishment. But the waiter wasn't Guatemalan or Spanish. So she didn't understand me when I asked for the black beans to be liquados and not re fried. Which still ended up with refried beans, also being the only ones there for dinner. My glass of water stood empty for a while, but just overall, the service wasn't the greatest. BryAnna's from all 5 stars you fell to a 3 star
Very tasteful Central American food. Great atmosphere, clean environment. Service was a bit slow, food did take some time to arrive at the table but fresh. Would definitely come back here again for some good comfort food.
Didn't get to try anything but water. Staff was more concerned about online and carry outs. Most attention came as I walked out the door after about 10 minutes of being acknowledged... except by the busboy. Disappointed, because the menu looked good.
We drive 40mins once or twice a month just to get some pupusas, the food is good but the service is terrible, they take way too long to serve a simple order. And for carry out they always say “15min” but is always 30mins or more, last time they took almost an hour after we got to the restaurant to pick up an order and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Is just not worth the drive anymore, won’t be coming back any time soon.
The food was excellent. My family always gets tamales from this place during Christmas time. The food was excellent, they were really busy on a Sunday afternoon and service could have been better, but they were very nice anyways. I would absolutely go back, that mollete is EXCELLENT!
Tasty, fresh, and authentic Guatemalan food! Ordered carryout from the restaurant to skip Grubhub, and it was ready when they said it would be. Everything was fresh and piping hot. The dining room was cozy and spotless, they mentioned returning to indoor dining at 20% capacity. Mask policy signs were up and sanitizer was at the door. Pupusas were some of the best i've had, large and packed with fillings. The revuelta pupusa was tasty, and the bean & cheese pupusa was a great vegetarian option, as is the antojito sampler. The pulique beef stew was perfect for a snowy January day, as were the hot plantain and corn atole drinks. BryAnna's definitely fulfilled our craving for homestyle Guatemalan food, and then some! Looking forward to dining in sometime and trying all the various specialties.
