We went to the St.George apple festival this past weekend and bought an apple pie from Bruno's. I can say without a doubt this was the worst apple pie I've ever tried. Apples were 100% not fresh. At $18 pie we expected a home-made apple pie but got a cheap canned pie filling pie. Nothing redeeming about the pie. I can't comment on any of their other products but based off of this we will not visit this bakery. Do not recommend.
The service was friendly and welcoming. Bruno's has a delicious assortment of baked goods, done right on their premises, it was hard to choose because everything looked amazing. I bought a pumpkin spice tart, which was full of flavor and a selection of Christmas cookies. The cookies are wrapped in such a way, that they would make a great hostess gift, given to a neighbour or, to that special teacher. It was $10 for the cookies and $4.99 for the large tart. At Bruno's they also have a freshly made lunch counter. Bruno's will also make custom orders for any cake, cookies or meal.
Not the best pizza ive had, but the arancini balls was perfect!
I went here the other day with my friend and it was a hot summer day, yet it was like an oven in the cafe. It was so hot! Much hotter than the 30 degrees outside. I ordered a sandwich and then asked for it toasted, and was told there isn’t a toaster- however, there was literally one behind the counter. I also went to get a drink from the fridge and it was warm because there is no door on the fridge. Just a fabric screen. My friend was carrying drinks in her purse that she packed from home 3 hours before and they were more cold sitting in her purse! Very disappointed.
Bought a lemon and blueberry loaf from here at the butter tart festival. Absolutely disgusting. What a waste of $20. All lemon taste and so much that nobody could eat it. It went in the garbage. Do not recommend this bakery at all.
Bought a blueberry pie here from the St.George Applefest. Really good tasting pie and love the crust. If I am ever in the area, I will definitely stop by and pick something up.
Me and my family went to order 5 sandwiches from here. We’ve ordered here once before a year ago and the sandwiches were delicious, so we decided to go back. This time the service was poor, the food was not fresh, and the menu was misleading. The boy making the sandwiches did not disclose that all toppings were extra. Also, the way he asked if we wanted cheese was implied it was free. Why offer and not disclose it’s with an extra fee?? Their small menu was poorly written and font size was so small. When we complained that this was not disclosed about the extra toppings the associate pretty much blamed us for him not disclosing that the toppings were extra and brought over their tiny menu to us. Will never come here again, everything is over priced and not worth it.
Bruno's Bakery & Cafe is truly a gem in the heart of Innisfil. On my first visit I was welcomed into the store by aromas of freshly baked pastries and bread. I had to wait a bit before being assisted at the counter because there were a couple of people before me, but it was well worth the wait! I purchased a variety of treats, all recommended by the kind and helpful lady behind the counter. I also purchased a loaf of Challah bread. As soon as I got home the pastries were all devoured. We tried cannolis, Portuguese tart, chocolate tart and a lemon bar. They were each so unique and tasty. Will definitely return to try other sweet treats and food options.
be hungry! this massive veal missile is loaded with flavour. she is a bit sloppy to eat, but you will be rewarded. the desserts are italian bakery classics. highly recommended.
Veal sandwich is good, if a little thick with the bread, and the cupcakes are delicious but expensive. Not a bad place to go, but I won’t be a regular.
