Our family have used our local Brunet for the last thirteen years and until today, we have received excellent service. Today my wife purchased a pregnancy test. She followed all of the instructions which included the words "To read the result correctly, you must first find a pink / purple line indicating that the test is functioning in the upper level of the window.". After 5 minutes, as per the instructions, no pink line appeared in the upper level, which indicated that the test was not functioning so my wife went back to Brunet to inform them. The response was that this test is functioning (even though it is not functioning as stated in the instructions) and that the line as stated in the instructions will NOT appear if the hormone levels are not high enough so the advise was to purchase another test. My wife took the sample with her and was expecting to do a new test with the pharmacist present as the first test was faulty but this did not happen. She was not expecting to be advised to buy another test. We will NEVER be using Brunet again!
