Food : We had the steak bennys and crème crepes. The food tasted good, but the portion sizes were quite small for the price. The hashbrowns that came with the bennys were very dry, although the bennys themselves were really enjoyable. The crepes were slightly burnt and didn’t taste as good as expected.nn Price : I felt it was a bit overpriced for the portion size. The $22 steak bennys had only a few small pieces of steak, and the $18 crepes didn’t have anything in them that justified the price.nn Service : The service was excellent. The lady serving us had a pleasant attitude and consistently checked in to make sure we were doing well.nn Atmosphere : The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms, and the utensils were spotless. It had a cozy atmosphere with comfortable seating and a nice view of the railway crossing.
The breakfast was hot, delicious and quick. The vibe was old-school and gave me nostalgic vibes. It isn't fancy but it's got a certain appeal to it for me. Even on a Tuesday at 10 they were steady. Prices aren't cheap but also not unreasonable. I would eat her again.
We ordered the vegetarian options — Bennie’s eggs and the vegetarian omelet. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. However, we were disappointed to notice that the food had a subtle meat-like taste, which suggests it may have been cooked on the same grill or in the same oil as meat dishes. As vegetarians, this was quite off-putting. It would be great if the kitchen took more care to separate vegetarian meals from meat preparation to ensure a truly meat-free experience.
Good service. The eggs Benny is good just wasn’t impressed with the home fries. Coffee was good as well. Just watch out for the random flies. Overall I think it’s a good breakfast spot.
Excellent, hot food, very well priced. Extensive menu for all types of eaters.
