I ordered a "full load" of 24 cubic yards of TOP-soil, but was short-changed by about 2 cubic-yards based on what I could see when the rear door opened. On June 2/22, I rec'd a terrible mix of about 7 yards of TOP-soil, 6 of gravel 6 of sand, & 3 of sticks & twitch-grass roots, & weed-seeds. ~/~ BRUMAN: "Our top soil is screened on a ½ inch screen." Then the screen must be full of holes. They couldn't dump in 2 locations because of overhead wires. Wouldn't their experience tell them this would be an issue??? This caused an insane amount of work for me & a hockey buddy. I emailed them & said the driver crushed the end of my neighbour's paved drive. Their June 7 16:25 email read: "After discussion with the driver, we have no reportable incidents from June 2 delivery to the above noted address." Well of course the driver is not going to report on himself !!! They ghosted my follow-up emails. ~ I totally regret getting this BOTTOM-soil. ~ June 27 Update: The soil is polluted with weeds from this "dirt-ee" company. ~ July 7 Update: Today I screened the top 1/2" or so. I didn't dare go deeper. There's a shocking percentage of gravel !! The weeds are healthy, vibrant & prolific. If black-muck is a 10, this stuff is a zero. ~ New & beautiful day. I have to screen my whole yard before putting in the lawn. The amount of gravel & twigs is stunning. Buyer beware. ~ BTW: I'm surprised by the sand -- way too high a percentage, & it's the kind that REPELS water, rather than absorbs it. The water BOUNCES off the sand !!! ~ Other than the above, I recommend getting this stuff -- or not.
Showed up during a snow storm and still waited for me to show up. Out standing.
