My wife Peri and I had our wedding reception at Brooklea, and we cannot say how pleased we are to have done so. Darryl and his staff went above and beyond our expectations with everything. They were great to work with, and very accommodating. The food was delicious, the ballroom looked fantastic. We most definitely would recommend any type of event here. Thank you again for all of your hard work to make our special day possible.
Played Brooklea last month for the first time in couple years. Its a good course but there is a lot of construction and maintenance going on so one hole is a par 3 60yrd? and couple other holes had heavy equipment blocking fairways, but its an average course.. the sand traps are not maintained and the range is across a busy street so its not really accessible. However, this time I do feel the fairways were not as hard and rough and were in better shape than I remember last time. Staff is nice and food is also pretty good.
Great experience with the lovely owners going out of their way to make my daughters first attempt at adaptive golf as positive as possible! Happy to have a local golf and country club so close to home. We will be returning for sure!
The course is in decent shape and the cost of everything is well within its price range The Staff are super nice and the Owners are very welcoming and gracious. My wife and I love the course and its people! Great Job to all!
The problem with this place is apparent by reading the reviews. Half of the one star reviews are from people complaining they are rushed. ‘Ruins’ their desire to learn the game apparently. As they hack around for a 6 hour round in a group of 5 while getting wasted. But hate being told to hurry up. The other half come from players like me that want to play in 4 hours and can’t stand the pace of play. I’ve been stuck behind just terrible groups the last three times played there. This place attracts hackers who have no awareness or courtesy to other golfers. The tee times are all pretty loose as well. Don’t know the solution, but it seems to create issues regardless of what camp you’re in.
Daryl and Radhika were so easy and great to work with to coordinate our holiday event. They were flexible with the menu, allowing us input, and put great attention to detail to set up our event. We loved the graphic on the TV welcoming us! We look forward to having more events here! Thank you!
I go to Brooklea once a year with my father, however there seems to be a sharp contrast to conditions from 2021 and 2022. Maybe they are short staffed, however it does show. Grass was not cut and leaves and twigs all down the fairway making it very hard to find your ball. Their cart paths would be better suited for an ATV in some spots. Hope next year is better!
A truly awful place with awful staff. My friends and I 8 golfers total played 3 rounds here over 2 days. We used Underpar coupons and the staff didn’t even want to book us in at first, saying they have no tee times available. Finally after multiple unanswered emails and phone calls, we booked our rounds. This course is in horrible shape, garbage cans overflowing, confused and rude staff, not enough carts so if you plan on playing after noon, your round will almost certainly be delayed as you’ll need to wait for a cart. Cart girl is great but that’s about all this place has going for it. It’s a shame because with more care and maintenance, this course could be great. Also, Darryl spelling? let us down time and time again. Do better Darryl and check your emails. DO NOT GOLF HERE.
The last time I goofed this course was three or four years ago. The course is under new management and they have made some improvements to the facilities which are really nice. The staff are very friendly, the course is a n great shape, not as many sand traps as I remember, and the traps are no longer silicone sand... They've also added water on a couch le of holes that used to have sand traps #5 and #9. Good pace of play, expect about 4h20m on the weekend. Reasonably priced, I'll be back for sure!
Played Brooklea a few weeks ago. I was happy with the course. Greens were in good condition and the layout was interesting. Issue I had was with the starter. He was rude and condecending. Had a question that was answered with a juvenile comment. Then he started into a political rant which i could care less about. Willl not be returning nor will any of the foursome.
