Nice name Brinthavan, not sure how many people around know about this place as i have known only recently.. You get all the Indian groceries especially south indian, sri lankan. Also they have meat shop and you get specific fish varieties only here and fresh.. You also get to shop the pooja items which is good for the temple needs which is located right behind Siva Subramanya temple on Fisherman drive..
I'm impressed with their cleanliness. It is a well organized grocery store and easy to find things. Fresh vegetables, fruits and dairy products with good quality.
Nice and new sri lankan / indian store in Brampton area. You can find all kind of south aisan spices and food in this store. Service is really good.
What I like best is how well the staff cleans the fish. They don't have much selection but I always buy from here now instead of Asian Chinese supermarkets cos of this reason. At almost all Chinese supermarkets I visited they have great selection but the cleaning is always so so. Often I find scales or guts left over and I end up regretting paying extra for cleaning for I usually end up having to do again. This is the first place where consistently they have done a good job
Great store! They have a huge variety of South Indian/Caribbean foods, along with fresh meats/fishes packaged to order. I use this place as a one-stop-shop for all the grocery needs.
This supermarket carries some unique specialty products from the southern part of India and Srilanka. These products unique to Southern India are not available at other Indian grocery stores. Staff is friendly and courteous and I enjoy shopping at this store. My only suggestion for this place is to make it accessible. Right now there is no accessibility button at the entrance. It is impossible for someone with a wheel chair or walker to enter the store...
I live in New Brunswick. I recently went to Brindhavan Supermarket when I visited my daughter. I always buy Tamil groceries there. This time I bought a Clay pot. It was amazing. Quality products amazing staff.
Good store carrying unique products generally not found in other South Asian grocery stores. Prices are reasonable too. Love their delicious packaged Sri Lankan snacks.
Only one Ceylon Groceries Store in North Brampton. Very Nice People and Customer.
The fish is not that very fresh at this place, they have to improve the quality of the product. some of the country chicken are so dry it is like hard rock.
