Lots of history to read here. Bridge built by the infamous doukabors. Aka russian hippies/ anti conformists
Amazing view! Very quiet. No parking.
Great views mixed with some history! Worth the detour! Tight for turning around. Short stretch of gravel.

A National Historic Site, built in 1913 by volunteers. Great view of the other bridge.
Worthwhile but not over the top, not easy to find the entrance, once you find it and drive down the gravel road it’s a narrow turn around for a large truck of motorhome ,
Great place to stop and soak in some views, or start off a hike!
Great place for walk and pictures
This place is beautiful. A definite must see if you find yourself in Castlegar. Bridge and lookout are well built and the information provided along the way is interesting and informative.
