Bridgette has been a five star destination for me in Calgary for years. I was so excited to see it open a new dining location in Canmore. The new space is stunning. Very modern and open concept. A gorgeous patio. Fireplace. It's a big space and it was busy. Be sure to make reservations. Our server was amazing. Timely and attentive. She was also very helpful and cheerful. She chose everything for us and it was an incredible experience. The food was spectacular. The menu is diverse with lots of food and beverage selections. You just can't go wrong! 5 stars across the board! 5 x
Our vacation condo was within walking distance of this restaurant and we regret not trying this place sooner during our stay. We ended up visiting this place twice and it was one of our absolute favorite during our stay in Canmore. The happy hour could not be beat!!! 2-5pm with half of beverages and pizza. You MUST do the fennel salami pizza. Such a nice twist with honey on it! The rigatoni pasta with truffle was also incredible!! We tried several of the cocktails on the menu and every one was amazing. Best of all, they were dog-friendly.
Came here when it just opened. Perfect timing for my parents first visit in the mountains. Absolutely loved the interior design of the restaurant. The menu is full of surprises as it will change maybe by season so you would not end up ordering the same dishes on your next visit months from now. We ordered a lot of plates to share. Tapas style. All dishes were made to perfection especially the chicken and fries as entree. However, a month later I came to visit again in October 2023 with friends, you better be prepared to make a reservation in advance or else you could end up waiting for 1 to 5 hours especially on weekends.
Got to happy hour at 3:45 got a table for two and told hostess we would have 4 more join at 4:45 . Took our name noted. Had our drinks which were good and server originally from England who was great. Our wild mushroom pizza was ok the crust felt a bit doughy not cooked but topping was delicious . prefer Rocket Pie in Canmore for their Neapolitan pizza Our friends arrived and the supervised lady dressed in dark blue black told my wife that it would be 3 hours to get a table. And was like we have people booking weeks in advance . funny cause they just opened a few weeks ago. Anyhow we tried to sit by our table of 4 and 4 of us against the sofa bench. The same lady supervisor told us we would disturb people and can't sit like that. There was only 2 guest ladies nursing their drink and half pizza who didn’t seem bothered with lots of space between us. So the three guys went and sat at another table waiting for the big one to open up. We got our table for six and a nice lady servers was great. Food of pasta dishes were pretty average shrimp calamari pasta and ravioli were basic fair at over $24, nothing I couldn’t produce at home. Overall the moment the Supervisor acted the way she did left a bad taste for 6 locals who have worked in the industry on high level management. Do better with the way you talk to people. Might go back for happy hour but not for dinner.
We were deciding where to go for dinner and decided to stop here! We’re glad that we did! The beet salad I had was so good, the beets were done perfectly and the dressing was just the right amount! I don’t like it when it’s too much! My friend ordered the duck and it was amazingly delicious, not gamey at all, it was very tender and flavorful! We also had the fried egg plant for our appetizer, the yogurt dipping sauce was great, not too strong! We sat at their heated outdoor patio and the heat lamp was aiming right at me and I asked the waitress to turned it lower and she said she couldn’t! So I asked the hostess and she was able to but reluctantly! The outdoor patio was not cold at all! It was very comfortable after the heating lamp turned off!
This new location of Bridget bar is absolutely gorgeous! The inside has the smell of smoked hickory and fantastic seating for intimate conversation. Outside there are warming lamps and a view of the water feature and mountains in the distance. Food, as always, was delicious! Recommend sharing the dishes to sample a bit of everything!
Fabulous addition to the Canmore food scene!! Great vibe. Nice happy hour with half off great selection of drinks and pizzas, we had Chicken Sausage Pizza that was to die for! Burrata and Spiced Beet Salad delightful. Halibut light and tasty. Finished with Banana cream dessert! Definitely will be back, a 10!
First place we ate when we arrived in Canmore.. so it was the first of the sticker shock. My friend had the calamari shrimp pasta and loved it. We had a broccoli and steak bits. It was good. Not a place we felt we had to go back. But very nice.Food: 5/5
We loved our dinner at this restaurant. Free parking and great location. The atmosphere inside was wonderful. Everything we ordered we loved. Lovely craft cocktails and mock tails. The service was great and very fast. It was easy to get a reservation on Open table. We just loved this place.Food: 5/5
Took a fun little day-trip to Canmore and ate here for lunch. We've eaten at the location in Calgary and figured we would try out the new Canmore location. It was amazing! The restaurant itself is gorgeous, food is delicious, cocktails are great and the service we had from our server Chris was amazing! Will definitely be back!
