A gorgeous old and authentic tea room. Had eggs royale and it was the best breakfast I've ever had in the UK so far . The portions are big and the food is very tasty. People are friendly and it's really great value for money. Tried also the chips and cream tea, the chips were perfect and the scones were warm with a very generous portion of clotted cream and jam. They also have a kids menu. Would definitely love to go back if I've ever in Leicester again.
Favorite brunch place at the moment! French toasts are my favorite, but Caspian breakfast is a flavor journey. Creamy salmon pasta is also amazing. I think is one of those places you want to keep going to try different things!
A wonderful place for breakfast, lunch and fantastic desserts! The garden is lovely and sunny and the staff are extremely helpful and polite! Would definitely be returning for more delicious food!
Always outstanding. The food is always excellent and the service is always good. It never fails to hit the mark time and time again. Great portion sizes. Fairly priced. I love the Eggs Royale and the Caspian is great too, the other half has sampled the English Breakfast which was also the same great standard. Outside seating available in the little courtyard where the front door is. Table service provided. Would really recommend Mrs B's without a second thought.

Lovely food - I had a delicious and authentic Welsh rarebit with chutney and lovely home made coleslaw. Plenty of inside seating, and a nice outside courtyard too when the weather's nice.Food: 5/5
We had a hen party and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here! It was a bit too warm upstairs. Would’ve been great if they had fans or something. The afternoon tea & the cold iced latte was really lovely! The brioche buns gave a nice twist to the sandwiches! I chose Red Leicester cheese and chutney as my option! All the sweet desserts and scones were delicious too! Oooo and the cheesy chips with Red Leicester cheese was really really delicious too!!!
Food was decent for the price. The thing that let it down was that we couldn't keep our 8 month old baby in the push chair as we were seated upstairs and they didn't have any high chairs so had to juggle him between myself and his Mum. Made it very difficult to enjoy our afternoon tea as he just wanted to grab everything. Also the coffee machine is very loud when you're upstairs and makes it hard to hear each other when talking. Don't think I would visit again any time soon. Vegetarian options: Not much veggie or vegan options when it comes to the afternoon tea. Kid-friendliness: Very small inside. Only have 2 highchairs so if they are used by other guests you have to have your child on you.
I love this place, it's a somewhat 'hidden gem' in the city centre. Great food and great coffee at very reasonable prices.Food: 5/5
I've walked passed this place for years and never been inside. Decided to go here for breakfast and I would honestly say I'll be coming back. It's seems small when you look inside but there is an upstairs with plenty of space and great seating. The staff are friendly, atmosphere very chilled and food great!
