Good experience at bricks pub. Food was well made tasted good, staff was friendly and ready to help. Fish tacos were pretty good, kinda bland, burger was classic.
Great food, cold beer, very busy so it was a bit loud. I wish I had known about the build your own bloody mary bar because I would have been all over it! You need to know that it's cash only.
Sarah was increadible! The service was surprisingly fast even though the place was slammed. Our food came out perfectly. Stop by if in Phillipsburg.
Totally impressed with this awesome bar & grill. Delicious burger and homemade tater chips. My server was super friendly and offered perfect service. Cutest little town!
Meh... it was alright. Our server was very nice and that was the best part of the experience. W eordered 2 appetizers that came out at the same time as our food. Kind of a bummer because it was soo much at once and we were expecting to be able to take our time and felt we had to rush to eat before things got cold. I ordered the patty melt, normally a favorite of mine. This one was very disappointing. It was served on Texas toast, which I like, but it was super thick cut with a small mediocre beef patty. Way too much bread to meat ratio. They should do a double patty or a thicker one. I spent like $17 on a sub-par sandwich that was almost cold by the time I got through my appetizers . Thr fried avocado. And the Philly steak fries were very good though .
Stopped in here for some lunch on September 4th, 2022. We always enjoy a great pub experience. However this was not the case, or the place. Service was far below acceptable. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive at table, and piss warm beer at that. Orders were placed with server, emphasis on that needing to be well done and upon arrival to table, nothing as ordered. This place is so far below average compared to the places we frequent. Other pubs / breweries If the workers attitudes were better, then maybe the food would be better, and drinks could be colder. Attitudes mean everything and this place has an attitude that should be jacked up and set straight. Never again will we spend money at an establishment that gives bad attitude before even seated No tip left at this establishment for very good reason.
Love this place!! We try to stop here every time we're in town. If you can't stay to eat the delicious food, Have a yummy drink instead.Food: 5/5
Great lunch on a Saturday in February. Not busy at all. Small kids menu and they had a booster seat that strapped onto the chair. Really good food. I loved my BLT and my husband loved the burger. The kids chicken tenders we're good too.
To start with asked if there was takeout waitress said she'd check and then told the person behind us yeah we're doing take out Waited almost 20 minutes for a French dip and a salad Ask for no onions on the salad got onions and then some French dip had some kind of melted cheese on it fries are over seasoned and very little dip for the French dip I would not recommend this place to my enemies the service sucked the only thing good about the place was the customers that were polite next to us
Sadly this is pretty much the only game in the wee town of P-burg. Neat setting in an historical building, decent tap list, but the service is inexplicably slow. And despite a promising start to my beautifully presented bison burger, it was overcooked and dry in the middle, making it a chore to eat. And the whole cash-only thing is a huge turnoff. They knocked the ATM fee off of our final bill, but still....just why? With little competition in the area, this place really doesn't need to try.
