The food is excellent and we'll worth the stop. The mixed drinks all sounded good but we're a bit weak and didn't have any complex flavors. I'd stay with the mimosas personally. Food wise, I highly recommend the elk!
First off, the staff was wonderful! Setting up the reservation was a breeze and the man who took care of us tonight was lovely. The food was great they had a brunch deal running tonight and we got one of everything on the nights menu! I only wish we remembered to use our Eat Local CNY card *facepalm* 2nd time dining in this past weekend, called and got a reservation very easily. We got to enjoy a lovely table outside! Ordered drinks an apricot mule and a black plum mojito I think, both very good and a 1st and 2nd course. The 3 young lady's working were absolutely wonderful!! very kind and attentive. Can't wait to see whats next on the menu!
Fine dining in a small town rustic atmosphere. Enjoyed a Syracuse Eating Club special tasting menu with 5 courses.
Chef is top notch, atmosphere is very relaxed and the bartender knows his drinks. Very pleased with the food and service, I'll be returning regularly!
I usually don't write reviews, but this was such a great experience that it deserved one. Hands down the best meal I've had in Central New York after living here for about 7 years. What an amazing small dining experience. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We had great conversations with both the waiter and owners of the restaurant. The food was out of this world. The presentation was absolutely stunning. The flavors were beyond balanced and hit every note imaginable. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was cook beautifully. Huge props to the chef. I wish we weren't stuffed by the end of the meal so we could experience there desserts as well. I will without a doubt be going back to Brick-N-Barrel. One of the best meals I have ever eaten.
Unique, monthly menus with very well thought-out selections. I liked that the wine and cocktail list is updated with an eye for food pairings. It was a little pricey, but the duck wings and pork chops were tasty. Nice outdoor seating as well.
I am so glad I found this little gem while searching for new restaurants online. I was not expecting the unique artistic flair of the dishes.. Every bite was a surprise! This restaurant was WONDERFUL and I am so glad I happened upon it. The dishes were unique, adequately priced, and tasty! The choice of ingredients was perfect, even in the mixed drinks. I also LOVE that the menu changes. It was super clean inside, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. I genuinely want to see this restaurant succeed! If you are looking for someplace new to go, definitely choose Brick-N-Barrel - You won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back here! Thanks for the great experience!

Sunday Brunch at The Brick, WOW, need I say more. The Chef is truly a hidden gem, his ability to infuse flavors together in a simple and uniquely exceptional way in the dishes he creates is truly a foodies dream, the way the varied flavors explode in your mouth leave you totally speechless. THANK YOU for such a wonderful dining experience!
I’m vegetarian and the chef totally went above and beyond to accommodate me as they do not have vegetarian options. My meal surpassed my expectations. It was healthy & delicious. The next day & I’m still thinking how that chef totally created an amazing dish just for me. Impressive!! I’ve never been to an establishment that has ever done that before. 5 stars to Chef Josh
