Man the food here was pretty good. Would have liked to see more cheesy sauce for the mac and cheese as it was quite dry. Drinks were plentiful and the server was great. Would definitely recommend this place. Great food, good atmosphere, and really a good experience. If you're debating going here and read this, go ahead and trust me that you should visit.
We went here to celebrate my sister's birthday. I came in about 30 minutes before the party was to start because they looked so busy, but the manager got us a table for 10 within 5 minutes, so awesome! Very nice setting, relaxing and good vibes. Our waiter had a really rough time keeping track of our orders, our drinks etc... and because the drink order got so messed up every one of us was cut off alcohol by 9:30pm, by the manager and it ultimately ruined our night.. It was my sisters bday, she should have been able to drink more for sure. We understand their side but on our side it sucked. We weren't being too loud or roudy, just having fun like a group of 10 gals does. I may return, I may not. But the food was delicious and it was the best Hawaiian pizza I have ever had!
I have very mixed feelings. I'm a local so I have been here a lot. I truly belive this place depends on the staff and the cooks working. Some experiences I have are . Others I can't get any service and my food is wrong or comes out lacking. They host events in the summer time like corn hole. The outdoor seating is fabulous for the many sparta events. Inside is beautiful. They have a side room you can rent for baby showers with catering buffet style. My steak was so flavorful with the nice woodchip smoke. The pizza was a kids pizza but they forgot the side. The beers come and go seasonally but they are all pretty tasty. I feel a lot of the food can become way overpriced for the appetizer menu. I recommend beer and burger night for a good value Vegetarian options: There really is not to many options for it I do hope to see a beyond meat or bean burger option added sometime.
Cold fatty steak. Cold burger and fries that sat way to long and were cold and dry. Nacho fries and sweet potato fries were good. Service was good. Just did also not approve of the cinnamon brew either. So one out of 5 ain't bad ?
Best place for pub food and drinks in Sparta! Large selection of drinks including their own beers brewed on site as well a fully stocked bar. Nice amount of food options including pizza and a build your own Mac and cheese which was delicious! I've been in before and had the loaded fries which were also made well and tasted great.
Our server was very nice. But this caprese appetizer was $12 and was a bowl of marinara with a couple raw tomatoes and a couple slices of moz. This has no business being on a menu anywhere.

Excellent local bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Sparta, MI. This restaurant offers classic American fare, hamburgers, sandwiches and even pizza. They have several homemade brews available, as well as other Michigan beers and other domestic brands. The atmosphere is upbeat and the servers are friendly. I saw people of all ages, including young children, during my visit. Outdoor seating is available in the back, as well.

The atmosphere is the best part. Our beers were just "okay." The food was very disappointing pizza and French dip. We asked for silverware and were given napkins and told no silverware was available. We had to ask for au jus for the sandwich, as the food runner never brought it as she said she would. I would never recommend this place to anyone
