Had a lovely lunch at Bricco, started off with a great Italian cocktail and warm bread. Being vegetarian, I got the caprese salad first, And for main dish the penne pizzaiola husband got the fish of the day cod with lemon and caper sauce. We both enjoyed our dishes, sever was great, atmosphere is lovely, the walls are adored with wonderful artwork, great lunch.
We had 5 different lunch meals, all of them wonderfully and intricately made. These authentic, home made Italian ingredients and meals, as well as the owner Nino and waitress Kathy have our hearts and full gratitude. A must during your travels. PS: Get the Tiramisu!
Quaint place, great service, delicious food We dined here as a party of 4. The host was helpful and accommodating since we called the change the reservation a few times. We were seated in the back room which would be perfect for a large group but was also nice for us. We had 2 servers Jon and Ginger which we liked because they communicated well and we got great service. The burrata and octopus appetizers were great. Our friends got the Caesar salad which was a large portion and came with shrimp on it. The bread with oil and vinegar was fresh and had a nice chewy outside. I had the osso bucco Ginger called it the “awesome” bucco and it was amazing. The saffron risotto was lovely and balanced out the rich flavors of the meat. My husband had the spaghetti with clams and there was a good portion of clams. Our friends tried their meatballs and said they were great. The filet mignon our friend got was tender and had an amazing sauce. The owner was funny and inviting. Our servers never let us lack for anything and Ginger hand-stuffed olives with blue cheese for us! They made sure we were happy and accommodated all of our needs. It was a lovely dinner and an even more lovely evening.
Last night we were seated by a host after being told we would have to wait approximately 5 minutes. We were a party of 6 and it was supposed to be an anniversary dinner for a friend. Well after over 25 minutes with not so much as a waiter/waitress taking our drink orders or bringing bread, we decided enough of this and we all decided we were leaving now. We walked out past the waiter and host, and they didn’t even notice. Bad service!
The BEST restaurant I have been to in years! Dinner for two, end barstool seats, 5pm on a Saturday night as a birthday treat from a dear friend, Joy. Kinda the perfect restaurant experience... bartender, ambiance, foodbeyond, service and the laid-back sophisticated vibe with NINO the owner running BRICCO like a Broadway producer. His NYC restaurant savvy, hysterical banter and the Lowcountry spin he serves are the BEST-SHOW-IN-TOWN. We left just after his invite to "dance naked on the bar!" To be continued... DENNIS STOKELY
Absolutely wonderful food, presentation, proper service, and great atmosphere & acoustics. My husband has hearing aids and was able to carry on a conversation. Loved it!Food: 5/5
My experience was really wonderful. The service was great. I never had an empty glass. The food was amazing. It was seasoned perfectly. Would definitely recommend. My entree was the veal Marsala dish under “carne”. I can’t remember the correct name for it.
Enjoyed our first lovely lunch at Briccos. Cloth tablecloths and napkins and simply decor. Service by Travis was exceptional. Chef visited our table and welcomed us. Salmon was excellent. Mussels appetizer was good along with Catch of day. Lemon ricotta cheesecake was pleasant ending along with after dinner drinks.. Look forward to return visit.
Best Italian in Bluffton and Hilton Head hands down! From the warm greeting when we arrived to the beautiful wine room we were seated in, to the beautiful and gracious owners who stopped by to chat to our amazing waiter Mark, everything was warm, welcoming and professional! By far the best Italian food anywhere! All the pasta dishes are delicious. We tried 3 different ones. Just go!
Atmosphere for a fine luncheon experience on a Friday afternoon outstanding. Owner plus wait staff are cordial but never overbearing. Wine list & menu make for a great experience, dessert to die for!! Price very competitive. U & your guests will definitely return.
