We attempted to settle this with the company prior to leaving a review and asked for the owners to call us, but they didn't. When Shirley visited our property she said there wouldn’t be a lot of material when the well was dug & that a couple of tarps would suffice for the tailings. There was no way we could have known the amount of tailings that would be produced and we relied on the information we were given by Shirley. Even tho she assured us there would be, there were no measures put in place by the company to prevent the spread of the tailings all over the yard and into the lake. When the driller arrived, they didn't bring anything to stop the tailings from entering the lake. If Department of Fisheries were aware of the tailings that went into the lake, this company would have been fined. After the well was drilled, we contacted Shirley about the amount of tailings in the yard. She said that the excavator would put all of that into the trench when he came to dig to put the connecting pipe to the house. We felt that there was too much material for that to happen and asked that she come and see the mess. She did did and said it wasn't typical of their work, that it was indeed a problem and she would speak to the owners. Even so, we attempted to manually remove as much of the tailings as we could. It was like trying to move heavy, wet cement. We worked on it for several days. The tailings were as deep as 6" for the most part & covered a large portion of our back yard. After the trench was dug days later, the excavator did not put the tailings in the excavated trench as Shirley told us would be done - he smeared the remaining tailings about 2" deep & then covered with a skim of soil. Had we left it this way, our backyard would have had drainage issues and all that would have grown would have been moss. To remediate all of this damage, we had to hand dig the area again to remove the remaining clay tailings. Because we couldn't remove all of the clay, we had to rent a rototiller to incorporate the remaining clay into the soil,to allow for drainage. Finally, we had to bring in more soil and lay sod. We're very disappointed by the amount of damage, the excess materials that went into the lake we live on & damage to our property. We're equally as disappointed that the owners would not call us, even tho we asked Shirley to have them call us.Service: Well installation
The response time to our request was under a week! Just waiting for the follow up services now that the well has been drilled!
Needed a well head located and raised, and it was a great experience. They got it done within 2 weeks, coordinated with my excavator of choice Nic Bellefontaine, awesome operator, meticulous and got it done within a day. And when they left, it all worked, and great price. There are lots of mediocre workers these days, but they are superb
Excellent service. Called Wednesday with a failing well pump, and they were able to come Thursday. Everything was completed in a few hours.I'll highly recommend you guys for any service!
Great people. Problem solved quickly. I would not hesitate to rehire them.
Talked with the owner at length. He took the time to explain the ins and outs of well drilling and installation. Thank you for the information, it truly is appreciated. All the best, David
