My friend’s daughter recommended to us! This is an excellent choice. Beer Flight allows us tasting different beers. We like the West Coast Pale Ale, very floral and fruity! Pizza Margaritas has thin crust and Napoleon style! Vegan Buddha is the most appealing to us. The whole salad bowl is very refreshing with the salad sauce. The Creme Brulee has a subtle cinnamon which is inspiring and different from the normal vanilla favour. Excellent lunch for us!
Really enjoyed my dinner at Brewers Blackbird. I had the strip loin and paired it with the West Coast IPA. The steak was grilled to perfection! The vanilla creme breule for dessert was also delicious. My son had the flank steak and my wife had a pizza which they both also enjoyed. Our server, Ashley, was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!
Loved the ambiance and very welcoming staff. The food was good too, with few exceptions. Fish and chips are 25$, yet the greens were “yellow”, not fresh; and fries were super salty.
Always stop here when I visit southern Ontario, really good food that has originality. Also very nice atmosphere. Love the beers here too. Great place to dine out at
Last minute decision turned into an incredible experience. I can honestly say the two beers I tried there were by far the best I’ve had since visiting England. My first pick was the bitter. It was amazing. I ended up taking some home. The porter was also fantastic! Well done to the brewery, you have mastered the perfect taste! Another bonus was the food! We ordered nachos, calamari and pizza. Not one disappointment. The nachos were so yummy we ordered a second one. Congratulations on a successful establishment!! We will be back!
Surpassed our expectations! The food was wonderful all around; beautiful presentation; made to perfection, with clearly very fresh ingredients. We had the fries with truffle aioli, the full belly salad, the smelts and the brussels, and they were all so tasty. We also had a pizza that did not disappoint, thin crust and generous on toppings. The beer was also good quality; fun to try a variety on our first visit; their flight looks as good as it tastes.
We just ended our visit here August 14 at 6pm we heard good things about this place and decided drive up from Caledonia to try it. Let’s say, we weren’t pleased. After being seated a table that got seated after us was greeted before us by the server and had their order taken. Bearing in mind that he had to pass our table to go to the other guests. After taking their order we waited for approximately 12-15 mins to be asked our drink order and then another 10 mins to be asked our food order. While other tables got attended to before us. Our order came out and the truffle fries were great, the pizza was very disappointing, very dry and tasteless. Our server did a table touch on every single table in his section numerous times and not once in our dining experience did he come to us. I don’t want to chump this up to us being the only people of Colour in the establishment but what’s else is there to say. We are very great tippers and as such we expect exceptional service. Unfortunately we did not receive the bare minimum at this establishment and will not be returning.
First time eating here-so glad to have dropped in! Amazing service! Incredible food! And the beer-may take a couple cans to go!!
Visited this place for dinner. The beers are pretty good but nothing outstanding. The place itself is pretty cozy and the service was decent. The biggest disappointment was the food. I have ordered the burger with a salad and my wife - a salad with a salmon. This burger was by far the worst I have ever had! A tiny tasteless patty, cooked cold fridge smelling onions and basic ban. Even the fries were tasteless and cold! The salad was ok though. My wife got a tiny piece of dry salmon and a decent salad. We were a party of 8 and nobody enjoyed their food... Will not be back
"Red" Salad with salmon was really tasty! So was the burger. Chip truck fries, great bun for the burger. Outdoor seating could have been better shaded, but overall a very good experience. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Will repeat. Parking: Parking was easy, lot behind the restaurant.
