We love the river walk! Paved and great for walking or taking a dog. Gorgeous no matter the time of the year and it’s always kept very clean. My favorite parts are the beautiful gardens and watching the fog roll on the river - plus sometimes you can listen to concerts from the other side of the river!
A great place to go for a walk along the Penobscot River. It's very clean and well kept and not too crowded. There are beautiful flower gardens and a couple of restaurants too.
I walked the full Brewer Riverwalk today with my dog and what an amazing, delightful area! It is about 1.1 miles 2.2 miles round-trip and is very well-thought-out with tons of benches and picnic tables scattered along the way. I was really impressed with the beautiful landscaping of rock, green grass and flowers. Another pleasant surprise was the number of tables that were set up with chess pieces. There's a lovely flower garden area, a bridge by a small waterfall and bike parking. The Riverwalk also seemed to be handicap friendly with its wide, flat walkways and meandered past two lovely restaurants with what appeared to be dog-friendly patio seating High Tide and Mason's Brewing. Highly recommend!!!
Lots to see here. A little beach, some friendly ducks, a children's garden, small waterfall, excellent landscaping, stroller and wheelchair accessible.
So clean and peaceful! I love coming here in the late afternoon with my boys and riding our longboards along the river. There are always families out walking and tons of cute dogs. You can also hear the concert venue across the river on show nights.
Outstanding location to walk your furbaby! Beautiful views of Bangor and the Penobscot z River! Wide pathway, and numerous benches to take it all in.
Loved it before for an easy, quick walk, but love it more since it has been extended under the bridge towards the old bridge/railroad track bridge. And if you are walking on a weekend night during the summer months, you may catch a band playing at the High Tide Restaurant and Bar or you can listen to a concert across the river.
Wonderful little walk along the Brewer waterfront. Easy, paved path. Benches and grassy spots. Granite steps to a kayak/canoe launch. Children's flower garden. Granite chess/checker stations.
Beautiful paved walk with excellent Landscaping surprise little waterfall as well as small Parks throughout great opportunity to the go out for a nice walk along the river Brewer has really done it well the walk is directly next to the river there's no buildings in front of you to block the path or blocked a view. A lot of praise to the Brewer parks department for this excellent public area
I like the Brewer boardwalk and had a nice large chess board on it was fun to think that maybe sometime I could play somebody on that chessboard I like going through the tunnel other than the amount of homeless people hiding out in there and they have access down at one point that you can go right down to the water and actually wait around in it so it's nice music in the restaurants on the waterfront add to the pleasure of the Walk and parking is close by and easy accessible at multiple ends through the walk and then they have a free open public Wi-Fi made it very pleasurable could use more tables and shade but they were plenty of apartments I found along the way
