Breast Evaluation Center & Boutique at NOCHS

One of the worst hospital experiences I've ever had. The tech came off as very unfriendly and rude because I did not want to have a mammogram. I felt like I was judged, bullied, and made to feel fearful. If this is how you treat someone coming in for a basic ultrasound, how do you treat women who really do have breast cancer? With the same kind of nonchalant, uncaring, and fear mongering behavior I experienced? I will never go to this place again and I will make sure to pass along the word to other women. Kettering used to be a wonderful hospital with great reviews from patients. The more I hear, the more all Kettering cares about is money and new buildings. Maybe the Kettering Breast Evaluation Center could use more empathy and understanding and less spa ambiance.

I had my first ever mammogram and ultrasound today. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The woman Sam who did my mammogram was very nice and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I was never in any pain, and she talked me through everything she was doing. I cannot remember who did my ultrasound but she was very nice and walked me through all the steps she was doing too.

VERY Good experience here. I showed up for my appointment that I made online on April 8, the nice lady at desk said oh NO who made your appointment? I said I did why?…… you made it for April 8 2023. Well I’m not surprised so I asked to reschedule. She said NO we maybe able to get you in today. They did and I was in and out within 30 minutes. WOW thats service! Got my results in 3 hours as well.

I have been going to Kettering Breast @Lincoln Park since the office opened . Always treated with respect and caring. Just had mammogram yesterday never a long wait. Nice warm robe answered any questions I had. I was shocked at bad reviews. It is never pleasant but new machines are like knight and day from the "smashing old days". The technician was constantly checking on my comfort during. They are busy because they are kind and good for this reason it is the patients provocative to make your appointment. That being said either in the letter or my chart they let you know when appointment is due. I just can't understand the negative reviews.

I have been getting my annual mammogram at Lincoln Park for more than 20 years. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and I have always been treated with care and consideration. They have accepted payment from Medicare with no problem. I have no complaints whatsoever and I’m amazed that other people have had problems with the facility.

I have been coming here for several years and I’ve never had a problem. Everyone there is alway nice and helpful. Appointments are hard to get maybe because more people are paying attention to their health. I found the appointment scheduling process very easy and quick.

According to the letter I received from KBEC I'm late getting my annual exam. The reason I'm late...now by 5 months is because I have been trying for 3 months to make an appointment. I stay on hold for 15 - 20 minutes with no answer. I have left 3 phone messages for call back with no return calls. You are disgraceful. Makes one wonder at the accuracy of the test itself - when administratively it is run so poorly.

I will NOT recommend Lincoln Park ever again!!! I had my very 1st mammogram done there when they 1st opened for business 20 - 25 yrs ago. And swore never again! It was a living night mare experience to say the least! And I have had many other exams elsewhere since then with no problems, very compassionate staff, and so on. But this time around I had go there, cause it was the only appointment I could get into this year. So I took it, unwillingly mind you. And I should have listened to my guts more closely. Cause still there is no one pleasant there! And during the exam when the tech was making some adjustments I am in pain hollering "OUCH IT HURTS", and she says, and does nothing about it. Then there is still somthing wrong at this place!!! NOPE! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO, OR REFER ANYONE ELSE TO GO TO LINCOLN PARK BREAST CENTER!!! They do not know how to treat people, period!!!! Don't do it!!! Go somewhere else to have your mammograms done!!

The ladies at KBEC Lincoln Park are the best. I became ill during my appt and they were very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Paula, the technician, who helped me through. Every time I have been there the technicians have been caring and are committed to patient comfort as much as possible. They have earned the 5 stars! Thank you!

Paid my bill according to my insurance company's discounted rate. They accepted my payment and are sending the remaining balance to collections. They would rather accept the discounted rate from the collection agency then to work with me.
