I recently met someone from Brazil & he recommended this place. I'm grateful he did. The ladies were cheerful & patient while we pondered all the menu options. Everything we had was a delicious experience in taste & texture. It's an older building & cool, so I left my jacket on. Granted, that was the day we had so much hail it looked like it had snowed. Due to the extensive number of restaurants in Vancouver, I generally move on to another restaurant once I've tried one, but I'll be back as I was too full to try all the things I wanted. :
The ambience was very lively. The staff were very polite and suggested us with good food. The food taste was top notch. It was really worth the hype my friend told about this place. They had good veg options too. If u want to enjoy Brazilian food. I strongly recommend you to try hereRecommended dishesGuaraná Antarctica, Coxinha 4pcs, Cumbuca Do Boteco
First time trying Brazilian food. The cheese balls and cheese bread were to die for! So delicious! The other dishes were very good too, but appetizers are the best overall. I would definitely go back Vegetarian options: They have the most typical dishes in vegan version!
We got takeout, but I really liked the atmosphere of this place while I was waiting for my food. And the food itself was 10/10 even after carrying it home for a while. I strongly recommend the Picanha, the steak is the star of the show but all the sides it comes with are also delicious especially the fries. Great find in the east end.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The coxinha was filled with shredded chicken which made the texture taste like tuna. The polenta was made out of cornmeal and had the depth in flavour due to the method of making, both appetizers served with garlic aioli dip. The picanha was a bit disappointing due to the lack of flavour in the steak however, the farofa and salsa went really well with the protein. The Frango Grelhado, was our favourite; the chicken was juicy and tender the kales underneath were full with flavour, would definitely recommend this dish to anyone. All in all, for the price we paid, the portions were huge and really filling, might try it again and order some drinks since they have various options!
Have you tried Brazilian Cuisine? This was my first time trying Brazilian cuisine with my bestie and we totally got the Brazilian vibes at Boteco Brasil. We went for happy hour and it wasn't busy. The sizzling hot plate was a good choice to share but I found it a bit too salty. I liked that my friend could eat the steak medium rare and I left the steak on the hot plate longer for medium! You can also combine the croquette flavours to get a variety. There's a patio out front which looks like a great hang out place in the summer.
Very unique location. The moment you walk in you feel Cozy and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Food was delivered really quickly. Their Steaks had so much flavour. They have a live music too. Very lovely and talented musicians. They sound amazing. They were singing and playing real good music which made the environment very pleasant and enjoyable. . Great evening good food and great music. The band is called Bossa Etc. you can find them on instagram @bossa_etc Parking: Behind the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level
A Random Visit In The Urge Of Wanting To Explore Restaurants in The Lower Mainland! 1. Very Clean With Great Ambiance 2. Knowledgeable staff who recommend great choices 3. Food was delicious! 4. A little expensive but worth the Food Should Not Only Satisfy Hunger, It Should Feed The Soul & Nourish The Body Picanha na Chapa 10oz delicious steak is served on a hot skillet with sautéed cassava in butter, garlic, vinaigrette, and farofa Calabresa Acebolada Cured sausage with caramelized onions. Served with brown bean, sautéed kale and farofa toasted cassava flour Coxinha A Brazilian snack. Crispy potato-based teardrop shaped croquette stuffed with shredded chicken and spices
The food was amazing, I had the Pincanha. The fries were crispy, rice well-done, and the steak medium rare was cooked perfectly. The servers were extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend
This was our first Brasilian food experience. We loved everything we ordered except the bean soup Sopa de Feijão Marrom. The bean soup was a thick paste that resembled more porridge than soup. I recommend the Picanha na Chapa if you want to try different appetizers. The Polenta was super well fried on the outside and so we'll made. The Strogonoff was different from strogonoff from other countries.
